City Engineering College

The course ( Computer Science and Engineering ) comes from VTU , which provided all the content to be studied , it's affiliated with govt so the contents are very important and much needed for our future . We are taught some technical skills as well as communication skills in the college which helps us a lot in the future Overall CS Engineering has a lot of scope but lacks opportunities in placements since they are lakhs of CS engineers getting placed . But learning a special skill like Dev ops , Web development and AI makes us unique and makes us an highlight in the group so the companies can pick us for our skills

Management Quota 1st year : 3.4lakhs 2nd year : 2.6lakhs 3rd year : 2.6lakhs 4th year : 2.6lakhs Total amount : 11.2 lakhs ( not including some books or printed notes ) Avg printed notes for 1 module : 50-60? ( per sub ) Notes ( own books ) : 60? Textbooks ( own books ) : Avg = 300-700 , Depends on the publisher Assignments books : Free Uniform : Free ID card : Free

The campus is small but contains all the amenities needed like Canteen , Stationery and Xerox shop , Library, Labs ( All Subs which require labs ) , Parking space , Playground, Feild , Volleyball Court , Indore games room ( Table Tenis , Carrom , Chess etc . Many events are also conducted on special occasions like Kannada Rajyostava , Garba , Diwali , Independence Day etc . They are many activity clubs like Cultural Club , Dance club , etc who organize many events They are also some external events like Hackathon , Marathon, Cyclothon etc The students are also friendly and they do socialize a lot

I had applied to other colleges like RNSIT and KSIT , but I myself cancelled the admission coz the colleges were to far and the images of the colleges were not as expected In our college ( CEC ) they take admissions through KCET , ComedK and Management. The students who took KCET and ComedK were opted for this college through KSEEB ( GOVT ) For management the student should have written KCET exam and got some score ( rank does not matter ) then the student will be given admission Some students were giving admission through special reservations

The faculty to student ratio is good , since there aren't many students in the college and the teachers are also packed The faculty's are very kind , sweet and approachable. They treat us like how we were treated in the school , yet some teachers do get angry a lot but not on their own . The teachers explain in an understandable way and provide us with proper notes and assignments which helps us a lot during sem exams , Overall everyone are friendly and peaceful ????

After the classes students sit in the center of the college which is completely surrounded with plants , trees and cute flowers. Some do go to canteen which has a verity of food at an affordable price , the food is also fresh and tasty The library is a quite and peaceful place where students go to finish their assignments or read for the upcoming tests
