- Climate and campus life. It is pretty good and gives nice vibes. There are somany places to explore nearby as well.
- Gym facilities are really good in the campus. Also we got nice ground for activities. Our campus is riverside.

Dislikes
- Summer time of the campus life is really hard. The climate is really humid and temperature is hard to cope with.
- Distance from the hostel to the campus is far. It is almost 8 km ride every day. So there is time constraints for our living.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBA because it was the flagship course of IIM Sirmaur. I also had an option of choosing THM as well. The course curriculum was pretty easy compared to under graduation course. It was more about class participation, presentation and written exam. I can say it is pretty decent and not tough at all. The facilities are a bit less here compared to other IIMs. Every faculty are a Doctorate holder. We have a trimester system with mid-term and end-term exams in each trimester.
Internships Opportunities
I got offered the Outlook magazine group as an intern. The stipend offered by them was 15000 and I have options to choose work from home or work from office. It was a marketing domain job. The project was about product and service development. We have a target of selling magazine subscriptions and also some paper works as well. Marketing is my domain. So I have to do some research on the marketing of Outlook magazine.
Placement Experience
Campus placement starts from the second year onwards. It means the fourth trimester. The package is decent and the mean is about 14 lakhs. So many good companies are coming for campus placements and we have a 100% placement record throughout. Student skills and past experiences matter most in the process of placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 1380000 for the whole course. It will completely cover the bank loan. I took a loan from Union Bank. The college gave the details about this as well. We only have to give signatures on stamp paper. No need for a moratorium and other stuff. If you maintain good academic performance, it is easy to get better scholarships. There are some scholarships based on academics and our Financial assistance was very easy to get here.
Campus Life
It is a temporary campus. We are yet to shift to the main campus. Even though it is small, it is really beautiful and the climate in Himachal is really nice. It gives a nice vibe. Sports and extracurricular activities are pretty good here. The whole campus is student-driven. We got a really good gymnasium and a nice ground. The girl's hostel is inside the campus itself. We are 50 km away from Dehradun.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is really good. 1st-year male students have separate hostels which accommodate all batches. The hostel facility is really good apart from the fact that it is 8km distant from the campus. But the hostel life is really good. The food provided is decent. They give all styles of food based on the student diversity. The breakfast they are providing is really amazing. We have the option to select veg and non-veg on our preference. For two days we are provided with chicken and almost every day with paneer and other veg food.
Admission
It was completely online until the orientation. I have given CAT entrance exam and attended the personal interview online. Later the mail came and I payed the fee for the acceptance. MBA take any bachelor's graduates. I had reservations I got better waitage in the process of selection. Application fee was about 2500 that time. Reservations were really helpful in my case. I got only 74 percentile and still got admission in an IIM. My personal interview was good and I also had work experience too.
