Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. Teaching all the subjects in the first year and then choosing a specialization in 2nd year. Teachers are qualified and experienced and teachers to students ratio is 1:15. There are mid-term and end-term exams and paying attention in class and learning the concept is sufficient to pass them.
Internships Opportunities
Summer Internship is a mandatory component of MBS and our college places 100% of students in it. Big names like HDFC, Accenture, and ICICI Bank visit us and offer roles in various domains with different projects.
Placement Experience
Our college provides campus placements and 10% of the batch is placed every year. Some big names visit our campus for placements. Students get a chance to enter a field of their own choice as offers are made for almost every domain.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for 2 years are around 15 lakhs including the mess and hostel. There is no scholarship as such but government scholarships for reserved students are applicable. Financing is easy as you have to pay around 2.5 lakhs per trimester and loans are easily available.
Campus Life
The life at the campus is great. There are around 30+ clubs and committees so you can get an opportunity to work with them and learn a lot. Though we don't have a permanent campus yet, but we'll be shifting there in July this year so it'll be even better. Most of the books are provided by the library.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good. Spacious rooms and all amenities are provided. The fold is also good and takes the tastes and preferences of people from all regions into consideration. Overall hostel experience was great.
Admission
We have to clear CAT for admission. The cutoff is 90%ile for general with 70%ile + in all sections. The application form is easily available online and the exam is held on the last Sunday of November. Reservation is applicable.
Interview Experience
There is usually a round of GD and PI for CAT but since Covid 19 they only take PI and that too was online during my time. I prepared for them by keeping myself updated with current affairs and my undergrad subjects.
