Honest review

I wanted to do MBA because I was always interested in learning more about business and that's why I took commerce after my 10th. All the faculty members are highly qualified in their area and the teaching style of each one is different. Exams happen every 1.5 months in 1st year and in every 3 months in 2nd year.

Companies like Hdfc, K12, and open wings are the mass recruiters which come to the college. And there are some good companies like ICICI, DCM Shriram, and Accenture which offers good job role and stipend. As of now, there are very few good internship opportunities in our college.

As of now, the internship opportunities which the college provides are not so good. It is very hard to find a desired company and role for the internship. Final placements are decent but they should be improved as per the IIM standards.

During the admission, the fees are told to the students and it remains the same for 2 years. If there is any hike in fees then it will be applicable for the new batch. I didn't apply for any scholarship in college.

Life on campus is different from graduation colleges because it is compulsory to live in hostels here. It is totally a different experience for me to stay in a hostel. I am very much engaged in cultural activities like fests and all, which take place in the month of Feb/march every year. It works as a stress buster for students.

Hostels are decent with all the basic amenities required for students. But there are sometimes problems related to drinking water. And the road in front of the hostel is not good at all. Food which we get in the mess is sometimes very good but at some times it is very oily.

To be eligible for this course, one should have a minimum of 50 percent in graduation, and then the required CAT cutoff should be cleared. CAT cut-off is very less for reserved candidates. Talking about the improvement in the admission process, Results are declared very late, this needs to be improved.

I had to go through an interview process which was handled by IIM Trichy. The questions asked were related to marketing, general awareness, my hobbies, strength, and weaknesses. The process was not difficult. I took mock interviews as part of my preparation.
