IIM Sirmaur on the inside

I wanted to do MBA from an esteemed institution. Faculty are great and there are more than 30 faculties for 240 students. Also, an ample amount of visiting faculties come as well. Amazing faculty with excellent teaching education such as Ph.D. and also post-doctoral. Exams are conducted on time and are difficult to pass.

The companies that come to college for summer internships are great. You get ample choices and crazy good roles, with a good stipend as well. Just be prepared, I am sure you can achieve something great from here.

As soon as you enter the second year, you are eligible for campus placement offers. More than 100 companies visit, with a 100% placement. The degree's main goal for almost more than 75% of the batch is either to get a hike in their career or start it on a good level.

I don't have much knowledge about the scholarship program of the institute. and I didn't get any scholarships. Fees are hiked every year by some Percentage as the average package is also increased every year by some margin. Make sure you give your best for CAT.

The sports are played but it is a temporary campus. But the premises do try to offer you the best they can, can't blame them for this. The annual fest is SIERRA, conducted in February/March. The books are provided from the library.

The facilities are the ones that are necessary. You get a bed, almirah, table, chair, mattress, and pillow. You certainly get a decent wifi facility. The hostels are affordable, but can be a little expensive.

I took the Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission. That is the only way to get admission into any of the IIMs. There are certain reservation schemes such as caste-based, work experience-based, gender-based, and economic status based. All the best for you to get admission into any IIM.
