The current director, Dr. Prafulla Agnihotri has worked with IIM Calcutta and IIM Trichy in the past. He is highly committed towards the growth of the institute. The faculties are highly qualified and experienced professionals from renowned institutes across the world. The institute also has multiple visiting faculties from other IIMs. The PGP office and staff are approachable, supportive, and willing to assist the students with any administrative or academic concerns. The institute offers fully residential, 2-year MBA and MBA Tourism along with a PhD. Students can opt for a major in domains like marketing, strategy, finance, operations etc.

For MBA, the total program fees go around 16LPA. This includes everything including books and accommodation. The mess fee is charged separately (6K per month). Students have the option to take financial assistance from various banks at low-interest rates. These loans cover the full or partial fees and are offered with flexible repayment options.

The temporary campus is on the banks of the Yamuna river. It has sports facilities and hostels with comfortable accommodations which contribute to a holistic student experience. Boys' hostels are around 5-10mins distance from the campus. The entire campus has 24*7 wifi connectivity. And thankfully the food served in the mess is good (you won't be disappointed). Students are expected to shift to a permanent campus by the end of 2023. The institute is completely run by students. The clubs and committees of IIM Sirmaur work dedicatedly to ensure the smooth functioning of the institute. We have more than 20 student-run bodies which provide students with an opportunity to interact and collaborate with their peers from various backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Life here is occupied by a lot of activities. Many cultural, sports, and business fests are organised around the year.

The admission process for IIM Sirmaur involves a combination of academics, work experience, performance in CAT and personal interviews (part of CAP round). Candidates who appear for CAT should check IIM Sirmaur's courses while filling out the CAT form. Then once CAT scores are out, if a candidate fulfils CAP eligibility, they are shortlisted for CAP. Then they have personal interviews. After PIs, all the scores are added and IIM Sirmaur releases a list.
