A bit less for the worth of money

I am doing btech in computer science with specialisation of iot. There is a lot of scope in the near future for this sensor development so I chose it. There are 80 students per classes with 32 section in btech. There are many faculty but quality faculty is very less there. They are interested in first benchers only. M tect is necessary here for the faculty to teach. So all faculties who are teaching are having m tect degree. In a semester, there are two mid term exams and one end term exam. There is atleast one month gap between any of the upper two exams. There is enough time for preparation for it. Mid term exam are slightly tougher than end term. Mid term each consist of 20 marks and end terms consists of 40 marks. Other 20 marks are 10 for assignment and 10 for quizzes. Quizzes are held thrice a semester and best of two are taken.

Student from fifth semester are eligible for placement offers in Manipal. Here many companies comes like Wipro,Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Goldsman stack, and so on. There are many offers made to the quality students. Atleast 80% of them are placed. 50% of them are very much satisfied with their placements and packages. Average package last year was 7 lacs and the highest from the campus was 43 lacs which is good. Around 80% students get placed. After getting my degree, I will try to get a good job in my field. If I find a satisfying job, i will do it or I will opt for m tect.

The fee gets hiked every year. Even these years also they have hiked it. Our's fees were 13,84,000 for four years but this year they get hiked to 14,00000 to 1500000 between them. They are taking fees for one year at a time. Though they are providing financial assistance such as scholarship tests for the MAHE exam. They also provide loans for students who cannot afford the fees. So financial help is there for them. Campus jobs are tempting sometimes but if you are average in studies, you may not find it so good. Mainly you will be picked by mass recruitment if you are average. But if you are good, and you are concerned about it there are many job opportunities given by college in big companies.

The annual fest happens usually at the start of the session. This may be said as in the month of August or September. It is very much enjoyable and relaxing. Tech Fest is held once in three months and is consist of every department of engineering at a time. There is a library which is needed to be expanded for the comfort of students. There is very less space but books are available in huge numbers and by various experts from every department. The class is kept neat and clean. There is an air conditioner in all the classes which is needed here because of the hot climate. There is sport fest held even semester which consists of indoor and outdoor games. There is a football court, cricket field, and indoor stadium too which facilitate every sport easily. There are many pages on Instagram which is run by students. Some about information, memes, and trolls. Some of them are muj_says, muj_confessions, muj_freshers, and so on.

There is an entrance exam named MAHE. You need to have at least 60% marks on the board for being eligible for it. We can find its application form on the official website of Manipal University. The fee for it is 1500 INR. Forms are available after the 12th board exam. There is no reservation policy here. You need to get a rank of at least 2000 for getting a good branch for engineering in the entrance exam. Yaa, you can get a scholarship by scoring well on the entrance exam. Direct admission is also happening here in which some students with fewer marks are also getting admission here which is need to be stopped from my point of view.
