Course Curriculum Overview
I personally choose this course on my own interest, because I really love to learn to code and the scope is high in the IT field so I choose this course. The faculty: student ratio is about 1:20 which is 3: 60 for our class. The faculty qualifications include PhD in their respective department. Actually, the faculties here are very much knowledgeable and experienced too so their teaching methods are very impressive and easy to adapt and they clarify every single doubt raised by the students. Mid-semester, practical and final exams are conducted here which will be easy to get a pass mark.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like Tesla, zifo and Tech Mahindra are offered internships to students during their semester leave with a stipend 20000 per month. Projects regarding web designing, front-end development and app designing are performed during their internship period.
Placement Experience
From the mid of the sixth semester itself, students with zero arrears are eligible to attend the campus interview. Many MNC companies like Wipro, Infosys, HCL and TCS conduct placement for students. The average package starts from 3.5 lpa to the highest package of around 7lpa. Over 80 % of students got placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost for studying this particular course costs around 100000 per year for academics which is 50000 per semester and 1,50000 per year for a hostel. Totally it's around 2.5 lakhs per year with food and accommodation. The scholarships include first-graduate, community-based scholarships available in Tamil Nadu which may vary from state to state. And students from the same state are eligible for education loans too.
Campus Life
All types of fests are encouraged here like food fests, cultural fests and exhibitions also conducted here by other colleges to promote and encourage students. All types of books related to the engineering department are available here with references. Sports persons have better facilities here to develop their skills and experienced PT staff to train them. And they can also able to improve their physical health. Many clubs are organised by the students here including Rotaract club, spellable, lion's Club etc.,
Hostel Facilities
Every room is provided with separate beds, tables, cupboards, and chairs for every single student with attached bathrooms and ceiling fans. Rooms and bathrooms are regularly cleaned by the hostel staff on a daily basis. A meal here is really good and hygienic too, the menu is not repeated weekly. Registration for a hostel is very simple and it can be done along with the admission process with your own interest. PGs are also available near the college and the room rent costs around 5000 per month.
Admission
The eligibility of the course requires that the candidate must complete his or her 12th graduate with a good academic cutoff needed for the engineering course. The application form can be downloaded from the college's office website and also you may get it in the college office room. The application fee costs around 1000 to perform for a single course. For getting admission to this college the candidate must have scored the cut-off mark allocated for the particular course or else contact the college office for further information regarding reservation benefits.
