A good university in Bangalore

One of the best university in Bangalore where quality education is gained. Not only academics, sports and extra curricular activities are also in the TOP. Campus is amazing and is surrounded by green everywhere. College have bus facilities too. Only thing is that it is a bit far from the city.

We didn't have any entrance exam for B.com Honours. I joined because of my Dad as he had a lecturer Friend there. I don't know about interview process and stuffs cuz I joined the college a bit late and through influence. But as ik students who score more than 80% in 12th boards have only taken B.com Honours in our college. B.com is something every commerce student opt but B.com Honours is a professional degree in b.com where the standard is completely different.

B.com Honours is something where people opt rarely. About 30-40% of practical knowledge is gained so far as I have seen. Since I'm in first semester I'm can't say more about it.

Yes, from 2nd year only our projects and other things start. We have more excursion so that we can be trained well which is a plus point having such knowledge.

People who have good aggregate in their academic record do get placed in good companies including in MNC's. I don't much about B.com placement as I have different plans in future so I never bothered about placements in our college.

Many technical and cultural fest takes plays in our college. We the students, Lecturers and others staff members participate actively. The way they organised, present and represent our college is an art and we give our 100%.

The fee for b.com Honors is 80,000 and yeah its a bit costly for this course. But quality of education is excellent. For normal b.com it is less than 80,000. Only for b.com Honors and b.com industry the fee is more.

Scholarships are given to students with poor background and for the one who claim and have less income certificate. Loans can also be taken. Well, I don't have much idea about it.

Yes, extracurricular activities are encouraged and supported. I'm a good Dancer and yes the college has supported me, helped me to show case my talent.

No. I'm a day scholar so I'm not familiar or have any idea about hostel and stuffs. Only thing what ik is the accommodation for hostel is around 96,000 per year. Food is good as I have heard. Many PG's are located close by to the college.

No, as of now I have never felt it to be stressful. In fact it's already October and next month my first semester will get over. I haven't felt any such stress or tension between I have enjoyed my semester and I'm completely so soon.

Lecturers are highly qualified with double degree in commerce field and language Teachers are also good. But they still treat you as a school student. They help you, guide you and motivate you for building up your career.
