Exploring Academic Excellence

I choose B.Tech (Cybersecurity) because the demand for a Cybersecurity person is very high and payscale is very good in this field. And the placements are very good at our university. All the faculty are well educated and ph.d holders and they have very good knowledge in their field. They support Students to be a better person in their life. The Student-Teacher ratio is around 1 teacher on 30-35 students. All the faculties are well educated and ph.d holders. The teaching method is very good as they focus on each student in the class. They teach in a very friendly manner and have good behavior with students. There are 3 exams in each semester CIE-1, CIE 2, and ESE. The examination gap between these is approx 1-1.5 months. The level of the exam is moderate.

I am in 5th semester and still, no internship opportunity was provided by the university maybe later they will provide internship opportunities for the students. I have made projects related to cybersecurity, machine learning, and DSA projects to showcase in my resume.

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. Last year one of my seniors achieved the highest package in the university which is 45LPA. Almost 95% of students are placed every year. I'll take placement from the university and later try to achieve more hike in my career.

In my course, the fee hike is a 10k spike each year. Fee Structure- 1,10,000 - Tuition Fees, 10,000 - Administrative Fee, 45,000 - Development Fee, 40,000 - Transportation Fee. I like Jaipur itself so I didn't take hostel accommodation. Scholarship Scheme:- Our University gives scholarships based on the 12th percentile. The terms and condition are if any student fails an examination or have back in any semester the student is not able to continue his scholarship. From the next semester, he has to give the full amount of the tuition fee. There is no job on campus provided by our university for the students and no stipend is provided.

Every year our university conducts an annual event called "LAKSHAY". It is held in March. During the session, many tech fests and coding rounds, and hackathons are conducted by the university. Our library has almost every book a student should need. Many journals, and magazines are available every time in the library and every semester new books are also added. All the classrooms are cleaned and fans and lights are available. The computer labs are well cleaned and 4-8 Ac equipped in each lab and high-end computers are also provided to the students. Our university has a very huge area for sports, like tennis, football, Cricket, American football, Rugby, volleyball, badminton, and E-Sports. From time to time sports events are organized by University. There are many social groups, clubs, and websites run by the students one of my batchmates is the head of the literature club at our university.

In my case, the eligibility criteria for a B.Tech degree is students should have at least 50% or higher marks to get into Poornima University. If any student has more than 70% he/she will be eligible for the scholarship. Application Form is available on the website or we can take it from the admission cell of the Poornima University. The application fee at my time is around 1000/- INR. I am not sure about the reservation benefits because I belong to general so in my case there are no reservation benefits provided at the university. Improvement is needed during the counseling of students. I observed that the counselor has less knowledge about the courses taught at the university. It should be improved.
