Play ground is top notch and gym was very good.
Hostel life was awesome and college atmosphere is top notch.
Placements are really top class surely most of the students will get placed.

Mess food will be below average thats the main dislike about here

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curricula are on par with the IIT syllabus so yes it's a bit tough. I am very interested in computers but I also need some extra knowledge about communication so I opt for Computer and Communication Engineering. The faculty and student ratio is 20:1. All teaching faculties are Ph.D. holders.

Placement Experience

Placements are the best thing in this college. After completing 6 th semester students are eligible Many top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, etc will come Highest package is around 75LPA Lowest is around 5-6LPA. 97%will get placed. After getting the degree my plan is to work.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is bit higher but comparing to other deemed universities Amrita is bit low and it also provides 3 tier scholarships for students who secured more marks in AEEE or JEE Mains or PUEE and you easily get education loans through bank.

Campus Life

Life at the campus was awesome and it's greenery campus and fun fact is everywhere you will couples and labs are highly equipped and all the facilities are available it has a huge library and you have free access to IEEE, etc and the ground is very large 4 football games can be played in a single ground, gym, and swimming pools also available and many events will be organized and runs by the student only.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good and it has around 10 hostels for boys and 4 for girls, the main problem is hot water, it will not come after 8:30 and the mess food is average and its pure vegetarian This campus is outside of the city so staying at outside hostels is not recommended.

Hostel Fee: INR 97000 per year

Admission

Minimum of 75? required in your respective boards. And to opt for engineering you need to clear AEEE exam and yes scholarships are available if you too scored in the entrance you will get the scholarship. Other than AEEE, JEE Mains and PURE are accepted.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
