Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I had an interest in economics back in my days in school. According to my knowledge the student: faculty ratio is quite good recently they've added new professors to our department. The faculty is highly knowledgeable and qualified most of them are researchers and PhD holders. Terms exams were always on time although they shift sometimes due to some management changes The date sheet for the exam is given 8-10 days prior Though the tentative dates are given well before the start date

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides you with internship opportunities. Companies like Deloitte, tcs, etc. also, students can get internships on their own Off-campus internships are also accepted Stipend is also provided to the students doing internships It may range anywhere from 8K-25K or more

Placement Experience

3.5

MIT is well-known for placements The average placement for my course was 8LPA Almost 60-70% of students get placement on campus The highest package from the college recently was 51LPA A student graduates from the Department of Blockchain Technology

Fees and Financial Aid

Student study loans are accepted for fees I didn't opt for any so I don't have much knowledge about that. The fees structure is very simple 2 instalments are taken from the students One at the beginning of the semester and one after 90 days from the date of the first payment And the fees are around 90000 per instalment That totals out to 180000 inr This includes tuition fees as well as exam fees for the semester

Campus Life

5

Many fest is held at the campus Some of them are RIDE, HACK-MITWPU, BCS, NLC, etc. These fests are technical, political and cultural The library has all the important books needed for one studies Classrooms are highly equipped with computers, smart boards, high speed internet, etc. There are many clubs like MIT Cultural, Innovation Hub etc.

Admission

The eligibility was 60% aggregate in 10+2 I guess, and for the course I opted for the eligibility was that I should have Economics or Mathematics as one of my main subjects while ssc. Application form for admission can be easily found on the website in the admission portal the test I gave was UGPET Being a General Category student I didn't avail of any reservation benefits You need to pay the fees within 10-15 days after receiving your offer letter, which should be around 90000, and the next fee is to be paid after 90 days of the first payment. According to me, the faculty is good overall But the only thing I noticed badly was that the course B.Sc (Hons) Economics wasn't really famous or known on the campus. So the university should take some steps to bring the Department of economics to people's attention.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

Not sure but I've heard a bit that students are eligible for campus placement since the 5th or 6th semester. If one has enough skills, then they'll be able to get a job of a huge package even while being a fresher. The college offers placements but you'll only get placed if you prove yourself to be better than everyone else in the room.

The placments for Bachlor's were not that great. They are more in the favour of Commerce applicants. The maximum package during my time was 400000 which is really less than the market. Also, the placments and the roles are really average.

My plans aren't straight forward as I come from a business background I can't predict what would I be doing but I want to have a career in operating system development .

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
