I like the atmosphere here its very good and l like the campus
The infrastructure is very good we can enjoy alot here
Teh availablity of placement is also good

Dislikes

Some of the faculties are very strict here
In mess they should update menu and make every one happy.
If you are living inside the campus in hostel they close the doors before 9.00

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become a software Engineer and I am very much interested to do coding. That's why I choose cse , 1.5:2.0, They are very qualified and the teaching method they are following is very good. For every month we have one cycle test and if we study well we can pass exams easily.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you score less than 500 in srmjee which is an entrance exam for srm you get 50%fee construction in course fee if you score less than 100 you need not pay any fee including the hostel. You need to score below 500 to get a scholarship.

Campus Life

They conducted a program every month and there are big events like arush which happens once a sem arush is the fest which includes technical and non-technical programs where as Milan is all about non-technical programs.

Admission

I took the entrance exam and got a rank below 1000 and lucky I got allotted a seat in cse core. We need to go to the official website of SRM. No reservation benefits are available. They response from them is not quick enough we need to wait for a week after writing the exam.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
