Remarks

The best thing I can mention about my college is its library as the collection of books is too much. Also the college seems most of the time ready for taking new initiatives.

Entrance Preview

Admission tests are conducted for this college at the college only. I also appeared for the entrance exam. I secured a seat after clearing the exams successfully. The test was too standard and also a counselling session was conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very much standard and comprehensive I will say. It follows the Anna University syllabus content. Practical learning is also highly promoted here as our department seeks its demand.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are not provided from the college side as I didn't get any from their side. Last year still I got by myself in HP with a stipend of 4 k.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided at the end of the course curriculum. Many companies like Amazon, TCS, COGNIZANT etc come for campus drive. The packages also remains good.

College Events

Events are very often organised here. Last event I remember was on cloud computing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee we are supposed to pay every year is a bit high but still affordable. Approximately we pay something around 1 lac 78 thousand as fee for our academics.

Campus Life

Many sports meet, cultural fests,Annual fests, expos etc are organised occasionally.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are available for students upon demand. The rooms are spacious and also the place remains tidy.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our college do have a very good alumni network. Many students from here are practicing at good places but still we have never got any interaction sessions till now.

Exam Structure

Exams are not conducted very while. The practical sessions does make us tired.

Our esteemed faculty is too much knowledgeable and focused towards. Most of the professors are seniors and they have experience from other colleges too. They teach really well.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
