Food outlets in the campus and nearby availability
Infrastructure of University Building is nice
The campus is green and is fun to roam around

Dislikes

The quality of food in the mess isn't upto the mark
The weather in chennai makes it impossible to live without ACs and not all classrooms have them
Strictness in hostels is very much, girls can't roam around after 6:30

Course Curriculum Overview

The course overall is very nice, I inclined towards the course hence I opted for it. The faculty-student ratio is enough. The faculty members are nice and understanding. Exams happen ever 1.5 months like in schools and are easy to score if the checking isn't strict.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure was defined from the beginning. They still take exam fees and placement fees which I believe should've been included beforehand. There exist scholarships and financial assistance. There is a 90%+ placement guarantee.

Campus Life

2 major fests happen in a year: AARRUSH and MILAN. There is a 3-floor library with all sorts of books. Classrooms are assisted with smart boards. There are a lot of clubs and teams that you can take part in.

Admission

gave the SRM entrance test, and found its link on the SRM website. The process of filling out the form was easy. There were sections for reservations and everything and was very easy to figure out. I didn't enroll in any quota or reservation.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
