The things I loved the most were the teachers and course faculty
The classrooms are spacious and well maintained
The good and updated curriculum every year

Dislikes

The crowd is very big. It's like a whole university of different streams
The management quota makes the input students very high
Some faculty fail to meet the quality in them

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is updated every 3-4 years and new subjects are added every now and then. The teachers here are quite good and most of them are Ph.D. or post-graduates from IITs, NITs, or other major institutions. Exams are held on time.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For ECE, the course fee is 2.5 LPA and for CSE it goes to 5 LPA. Apart from that hostel fees and mess fees total around 2 LPA. One can get a scholarship with a good rank in SRMJEE and can continue the scholarship if one gets above 8 cgpa for next year.

Campus Life

The campus is lush green and big, we have two major fest every year, a techno-management fest called Aarush during September and Milan in March, there are a lot of clubs regarding different streams more than 150 clubs all over SRM.

Admission

The admission was through an online proctored exam called SRMJEE, which one can find on the SRMIST website. There are no reservations based on caste or linguistics but one can get a scholarship with a good rank.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.
