Course Curriculum Overview

4

I like mechanical engineering specially the design and analysis part. Its tough me fundamental of how nature operates and really intestring to learn. the student to faculty ratio is 1:23. The professors are highly qualified in their subject with rich acedemic background. Most of them are very helpful and coperative except few . Most of them (except few) don't fail you even if you have weak acedemics and unable to score passing marks. You can ask for douts and also demand for research works and projects, they are highly motivated and will easily allow you to take part in the research projects and guide you throught the process. You can work under professors if they are working on any research work. There are two exams in each semester which are Mid-Term examination after 2 months of start of semester and then end terms which happen after the 2 months of mid term exam.

Placement Experience

3

Students of fourth years are eligible to sit in campus placements. Campus placements are starts onwards at the start of seventh semesters. There ate many companies visit our campus for placements. Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Apple, Oracle, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, G-Shock, DeShaw, Flipkart are few of the top companies visited our campus for placements last year for 2022-2023 batch. Highest package is 64 LPA for CSE and average of 21 LPA while 10 to 11 LPA average for mechanical, civil, chemical and meta, 14 to 16 LPA for ECE and EE. CSE, ECE, EE and ME have nearly 90 percent placements while civil, chemical and meta have 70 to 85 percent placement record. Job.

Fees and Financial Aid

My 4 years of B-Tech cost around 5-6 lacks including Hostel fees, mess fees and Institute fees. Fees will increase every year by a small margin, which is not much significant. I got the benefit of Income based scholarship from collage which lowers my institute fees by nearly 60 percent otherwise I have to spend 10 to 11 lacks for my course. There are many scholarships are avilable for the SC, ST and PWD students on campus, Most of the SC, ST and PWD people (precisely every) are studying free of cost due to avaibility of variety of scholarships from government and private firms. They also have lower hostel and mess fees than the general. You can visit Institute website for further Information. There are also some merit based scholarships but very few and also the income based scholarships which are even fewer. Please don't relay on scholarships if you are general male couse you won't goona get anyone.

Campus Life

4.5

Our annual fest Blitzschlag held in the month of feburary every year. They invite many celebrities on stage and DJ night is arranged for 3 days which is the best thing every in your collage life. Our technical fest Sphinx held in the month of september or november last around for nearly 1 to 2 weeks. There are many books are avilable in library but not sufficient. Our library is not very spaceous and very few resources are avilable there. Our all classrooms are equiped with AC and projectors. Our classroom infrastructure are one of the best in NITs and our lecture complex(VLTC) is the biggest lecture and theature complex in Asia. MNIT Jaipur provides very good infrastructure for nearly every sports such as tennis, badminton, basketball, kabbadi, etc. Our badmintor and basketball facilities are best among all NITs and many top privet collages. Debating, robotics club(Zine), aeromodelling club, Think India, CAE society, Maverics and many more are the some of the few clubs and societies

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facilities are excellent depending upon the hostel you get. Food quality is average, but again it totally depend upon the hostel you get. Registration process is online for hostel and mess every year. Hostels and mess fees are very affodable and you will get many benefits depending upon your category. Its very difficult of find affordable PG and rooms at the price of hostel fees near MNIT because its located in one of the posh area in Jaipur.

Admission

Threr is no eligiblity criteria for any cources. You have to clear the cuttof required for the specific branch, the cuttof for each institute and their programes are issued by JOSSA and CSAB. If you clear the cuttof then you can apply for that programe. To take part in admission process, you have to apply for the JOSSA councelling where you select the branch and Institute, you have to also submit some documents before or after JOSSA or CSAB councelling. After councelling you have to report the collage from where further admission process proceeds. In all NITs nearly 50 percent seats are reserved for the home state candidates(those who clear 12th boards from that state), 27 percent to OBC, 15 percent for SC, 7 precent for ST and 10 percent for OBC. You have to submit necessary documents required by the institute to avail the reservation benefits. My admission process is very simple strightforward. I don't think there is major changes required in admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because here the course is relevant and infrastructure is good also they give scholarship to study here . Curriculum helps very well in improving real world applications in day to day life . Teaching methods are impressive but some times it looks like a burden as they give load to students in improving themselves so this thing they should improve . Timing of the exams are of 3 hours . Their exam pattern is like other government college but they take exam strictly. Difficulty level is medium level .
