Mandatory 75% attendance criteria in each course is sometimes very frustating.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 120 students in my course. It is 2nd best course as first is CSE. But ECE students get equal oppurtunities. Faculty is very experienced. Almost all of them teach very well. There are mainly 2 exams- mid term(30% weightage) and end term (50% weightage). It is easy to pass. And not difficult to score a 8+ GPA if you can study 1 week before exams.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All big companies come for internships mostly for CSE and ECE students. Companies come after 4th semester. I am not very aware about this aspect. But about 108 students were offered internship from all branches (800 students). If you work hard, you can definately get a good one. Monetary range- 15k to 130K

Placement Experience

Almost all big companies- Apple, Arcesium, Goldman Sachs, Atlassian etc. visit campus for placements. There are mostly prefferes to CSE an ECE branches. EE also is open. ECE core companies like- Texas, Qualcom also visits. Highest package from ECE was 64 lpa at Apple. Average was about 17lpa(for ECE). FOr whole college it is 12lpa. 90% students in ECE got placed. My plan is to get a software development role.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course Fee is about 80k per semester for general students. There are fee remissions (2/3rd ) for income less than 5 lakh per annum. And full fee remission for income less than 1 lakh per annum. But be careful, as these can only be applied at time of admission not in later on years. Similarly there are fee waiver for OBC and SC/ST students.As it is a goverment college, there are various central and state scholarships which can be applied for anytime if you fall under criterias.

Campus Life

Annual fest is Blitzchlag which is organised on a large scale with guest like Shaan and other major celebrities. It is conducted in February. Other major fest is technical fest Sphinix. Library has lots of books easily available. You can borrow 4 books at once. And need to submit at the end of year. Classrooms are clean and equipped with AC. There are 2 whiteboards and 2 projectors. There is also one blackboard in each classroom with capacity of more than 120 students. Sports and extra curricular are readily available. Everyday there is some or other events. There are large sports ground. There are lots and lots of clubs for almost everything. You can even form your own club. Clubs run side by side and organise various events during fests and other times.

Admission

Admissions are done through JEE Mains examination. I got a general category (female) rank of about 13k and got to ECE branch. You can appear for jee mains exam. And then sit for JOSA councelling. Reserved students can get benifits such as admissions at lower ranks.

I like the personal mentorship for every student
I like placement opportunities given to the student
i like the environment of the college and practical work

i dont like the class timings and length
i dont like the prayer system at morning
i dont like college timing and regularly wearing college dress

Placement Experience:

in semester 6th the student is eligible for campus placements one of the company is techo tech highest pacakge of my college is 72 lacs per annum and average package is 4 lacs per annum there is 100% placement rate

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

University of engineering and management jaipur is very good for faculty bahavior but it is not good for campus facilities and other facilities. Uem jaipur is not supported for students a event organised.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

Journey in Few Words

Likes

The place is not only promoting studies they are also promoting the Talent by organising various events where they learn and develop other skills.
The Girls to Boy ration is good - 40:60.
The campus is also fine not very premium not very bad. If you're a good place in budget constraints you can opt for this.

Dislikes

They are little focused more towards money. for example when there is attendance less than 75% still if Student pay the fees they allow him to sit in exam.
Teachers can be more better. My experience with the staff is not very amazing. A lot of time i corrected some the teachers for certain topics

Placement Experience:

- Here the placements starts in the beginning of the 4 year. Campus placements are offered and it's not bad. Even we'll get some internship opportunities in 4 year before college ends - In my year the highest package is 14LPA in Mahindra

Friendly Teachers - treat you warmly and respectfully.
No severe Attendance Criteria or Extra marks deduction.
Many Seminars included throughout the course.

Dislikes

Architectural issues, building without repairs and many damages, no parks or playground for sports and activities.
Damaged computers and conjusted computer labs.
Need to revise the syllabus for CSE/IT as it is not keeping up with current tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Placement services are good and also companies like Google and microsoft comes to visit our campus.
Quality of infrastructure is like a Nit as they focus on giving best building and infrastructure with good curriculum too. Advanced technologies and amenities are awesome.
Course curriculum is relevant and rigorous practice of real world applications problem helps in cracking big company's interview

I choose this course because here the course is relevant and infrastructure is good also they give scholarship to study here . Curriculum helps very well in improving real world applications in day to day life . Teaching methods are impressive but some times it looks like a burden as they give load to students in improving themselves so this thing they should improve . Timing of the exams are of 3 hours . Their exam pattern is like other government college but they take exam strictly. Difficulty level is medium level .

College management Director was corrupted person he was the one who charged extra examination fees from student. Mark sheet of school and other important document has been kept by them till final year so that even if student wants to change the college they cannot.

I had not applied for any other college. But I had choosed some other colleges like NIT allahabad, NIT Delhi and NIT kurukshetra in my jee council. But I got this college. And I think I got the best among them all. Eligibility critera was minimum 70% marks in 12th exams. Also, around 95 percentile in jee mains(for general) and 90 percentile around for sc/st. I am not aware of obc. However, this criteria change every year depending upon competition. Cut off was not given on marks, it was all about percentile, marks were out of 360. I had applied for many universities but I am from Jaipur so finally I wanted MNIT Jaipur because it comes near me.
