Course Curriculum Overview

We have continuous evaluation programme here. Our college does not believe in mid sem - end sem programme. SO, our semesters are divided into 3 components with weightage comprising of 30,30 and 40 percentage. Each components has its own viva,lab,quiz and review tests. Faculties are very helpful if you need their guidance.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is almost 1.1 lakh per semester. Scholarship is allotted if you are among top 5 students in your batch. Government scholarship(NSP) is also available for weaker financial background students. Students loan is easily available. Campus placement is excellent

Campus Life

Our technical fest is known as Aparoksha. Our sports fest is known as ASMITA.It is conducted in February -march. Our cultural fest is known as Effervescence.It is conducted in December-January. Our library is easily accessible to each IIIT students. They can issue books for 1-2 semester. Classrooms are great. We have various clubs, students can be part of

I got admission through JEE MAINS. You need to be among 1 percentile student to get into this college.To get into this college, you need to go through JOSA counselling procedure and are allotted this college you need to submit your details online.For admission, you need to physically report in the college on the allotted date with all the documents required.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

I liked the professor of college their teaching style and unique approaches
I like the events they keep on launching in college
I like the placement ratio in college and their seriousness to get everyone placed

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges
The environment of college is not too good it's okay okay
The infrastructure is not well maintained

The curriculum designed is new latest like we study subjects such as emerging technology digital electronics computer science c , english for job the teacher teaches us using projector visualisation the first mid sem happens after 1 month or opening of college difficulty level is very easy

Great learning and internship Support

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty members with helpful mentoring
Friendly campus environment and good participation in events.
Decent infrastructure with labs, library, facilities and classroom.

Dislikes

More industry workshop and seminars can be held to increase exposure.
Encouraging more internship and training opportunities for students.
Expanding campus activities and facilities for overall development

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

A honest review about NIET(fees, internship,faculties,placements,and everything you need to know before joining)

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

IIT bhu college review

Likes

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

i dislike thing in my collage are the students are not mature.
i dislike thing are in my collage are in this collage student have to wear a uniform.
i my collage there was a big grounds for different games but the game should we inly during and specific program.

College friends only there is not a single thing that college will provide you to like about it.

College infrastructure and no one is serious about placement
TPO and Director behaviour they are totally unable to make your future bright

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

SEEING IIITALLAHABAD, THE STUDENTS POV

I choosed IIIT ALLAHABAD over other top NITs and IIITs on the following basis. 1. Small number of batch size which makes it quite enjoyable to attend any Campus event. The batch size for one year is approx 440-450 while in NITs, it is over 1200-1500 due to availability of many other branches. Less students = More Fun 2. Excellent Placement record. As we all know, the placement record is top notch here compared to other colleges. Average of 25 Lakhs is very good even in recession. 3. The infrastructural facilities of hostels is very good here. Comparing this to NITs who have 3-4 students sharing a room, here that number is 2 for first two years and after they you are allotted single rooms....Read More

IIITA - pros and cons

I got this college through kosaa. This college considers jee mains rank. I chose this college over the others because of its excellent academic and great placement cell. This college is competing with some of the top iits in terms of placement and research. The cutoff for btech in ECE was 8.3k rank and for IT it was 5.4k rank in jee mains. This college takes students through JEE Mains only. The admission process for this college is quite easy. Once your seat is confirmed by kosaa you just have to visit this college and the rest is taken care of by the authorities. You just need to have proper documents. If you have been admitted int hese college through some category then u need to have a proper category certificate. Without proper documents the admission will not happen. The admission process takes about 1-2 hours including the wait time. The admission process is 4-5 days long and you can come on any one of these days and complete your admission. After admission you will receive you hostel room and you can immediately shift into it....Read More

Iiita: the review

Iiit allahabad is famous for its coding culture which was a major point for me to choose this college over others. The peer group here is very smart people with all being the top 0.5%ilers. comparing with other govt engineering colleges iiita provides better faculty and lab facilities. Admission to iiita for BTech programs is possible through the JEE mains examination only, the cutoff for general candidate is around 99.5%ile in the JEE mains exam. For mtech eligibility is you should have a bachelor degree or equivalent msc degree, clearing GATE is compulsory Cut-off for gate is around 450-550 gate score. Application are accepted from CCMT portal. Reservation based on categories is available according to rank obc and SC st students get some relaxation in rank. GATE is held once a year.
