Entrance Preview

I qualified GATE exam with 392 GATE score to take admission in Nit Raipur and chose computer technology branch under department of electrical engineering.

Internships Opportunities

My course duration is two years and here is no provision of any internship but during my course I got 8000 stipent by MHRD and provide all the facilty for research. Internship for ug student aranged by the training and placement cell most of the student Got good explore by different company Bhilai steel plant NMDC is located near to Nit so large number of students completed his internship from these organization.

Placement Experience

Placement is good, most of the recognized company vist there like Infosys, maruti, IBM ect and packages are avg 4 5 lacAnd in 2011 I heard highest package is 16 lac.

Nit organized anuual tecno culture event electrica every year and anuual convocation anual culture feast give very big explore to students to show his talent many celebrity come here as a cheif quest like cheif minister of chatiisgarh, Ratan tata cheif isro and many others.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Nit is government organization so fees is very feasible for everyone my anual fee is aprox thirty five thousand 17500 per semester it is very reasonable for middle class and poor student and there is no hidden charges during academic year.

Most of the PG student come here through GATE exam so they got stipend from MHRD and if any student will take loan it is very easy with Nit.

Campus Life

Great enviourmen most of the student comes here for rualar area but when they passout these are perfect man gender ratio is good and I don't feel any difference in sex, religion etc, some student comes from the rich family and some from very poor family but no one identify these two.

Hostel Facilities

Goverment provide hostel and mess facilities in very low price wiht ultra modern facilities UG hostel is sharing basis but PG hostel for individuals.

Almuni network is very good it is one of the largest network because intake of my college aprox 5000 so total student is aprox twenty five thousand all Senior is very helpfull in nature and always help us passout senior help us to chose good career.

Exam Structure

Nit is autonomous body our subject teachers set paper and also check copies also so it was chilled but no compromise with standard or quality.

Life of Master of Technology at NIT Raipur.

Likes

I would like to appreciate the faculty members at the college. The faculty members are highly educated and help the students to learn and improve skills.
Here the students are co-operative. If one in need, then the other person would help that person. The behavior is gentle.
The seniors are helpful. They themself ask to come to them and gather knowledge and learn problem solving skills from them.

Dislikes

The campus has limited hostels for boys and girls. So the students have to live outside the campus to live in the PG rooms or private hostels.
The building is quite old and has not been modified since long time. One main building is there where different blocks are interconnected.
The closing time of the hostel gate is early by 10 PM. So many students cannot walk in the night outside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my curriculum Information Technology, we have to study Cloud computing, Advanced Machine Learning, Advanced Data Structure and Analysis, Distributed System, Blockchain Technology, Computer Networking, Data Science, Bioinformatics and many more subjects are taught. I choose this course as because it is aligned with my interest and matches my Bachelor of Technology field. By learning Cloud Computing, Advanced Data Structure Analysis, Advanced Machine Learning, Blockchain Technolgy; we get ready for industry job. In this course we learn how to solve real-world problems and solutions to them. For improvement in the curriculum, I would suggest not to involve more theory rather than go for more practical learning. The exams happens after every 3 months in a year. Generally the end-semester happens at December and May. The exam is moderate level.

Good placement but infrastructure is disappointed

Good placement and interships opportunities
Good sports facility and supportive sports faculty
College is situated in the centre of city so easy transpiration,malls , market access and online delivery are so easy and also there is a chupathi in front of college

Dislikes

College infrastructure is so disappointing
Hostel are not for all students only toppers and reservation based students get hostel
Language barriers between the students as most of the students are from south india

Placement Experience:

There is good amount of exposure so we get placed easily off campus and also the alumnis are supportive and provide recommendation letter to companies Adobe ,google , microsoft, tcs , whirlpool, wipro, samsung , and many big companies visited our campus in my course 90 percent students get placed My plans to get a off campus placement

Likes

Placements here are excellent as the best of the firms get here for placements.
Faculties teaching is next level as they are god like creatures who make sure that whatever discussed in class get in our heads at the earliest.
If somebody seriously stay attentive in the class, he/she will have to bleed less after college for studies.

Dislikes

There's a uniform and dorning them with a tie during Summers is a toll as it gets too hot here.

Placement Experience:

This is my final degree as after post graduation I have no plans for PhD or anything and I will be trying my best to get placements. The college has a very good reputation when it comes to placements and therefore it is inevitable that if I do my best, I will get the best of campus placements.
