Overall the college is good for studies. I'm the campus is really good to enjoy the college life.. Canteen have all the good food items. Well furnished classrooms are there.
Entrance Preview
I gave MHCET as well as NEET entrance exams. I did not get sufficient marks to get a government college so I searched on the Internet for the best private universities in Bangalore and after referring I selected GCU for pursuing my further studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum Is good with different subjects every year The course is of 4years and 6 months internship with increasing scope day by day. After MBBS I would choose physiotherapy as it's a good medical course. The first year will be basic for rest all the 3 years so as compared to other years of the curriculum syllabus of 1st year is tough but understandable.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides internship of 6 months. Many healthcare companies and hospitals seek students every year. The internship is given after the completion of 4 consecutive years.
Placement Experience
The placement is provided by the college. Many hospitals and physio related companies come every year to select the students from the final year batches. The selection of students is based on the marks scored and also the activities done by the students.
College Events
GCU celebrates many festivals as the college have students from 77 countries. There are several functions which take place In a college like the celebration of the culture of different States of countries, educational programs, conferences and yearly celebrations. There is also conduction of guest lectures.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is based on the marks scored by the students. College gives scholarships to students with good marks. The overall fee structure is feasible.the fee is around 3.84lakhs which is quite reasonable. It can be paid in by DD, cheques or cash.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides a scholarship to toppers and also there is a reduction of fees for students with good marks in HSC. The college accepts education loans.
Campus Life
The campus is very beautiful with good infrastructure and facilities. There are students studying here from various countries. Diversity can be seen. There is no discrimination among the students. Extracurricular activities like competitions, sports, cultural events are kept by the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good. There are triple, double and single sharing rooms available in the hostel. Girls hostel is also there in main campus other than that there is another hostel like venus home for girls and galaxy and jubilee for boys. The mess is there for food including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. It may not be good for some people
Alumni/Alumna
It's a very good experience of meeting seniors. The alumni network and seniors students are very helpful and friendly. Management of college handles all the things smartly.
Exam Structure
There are semester wise exams for BPT. The exams are conducted after every 6 months relevant to half year completion. The practicals exams are conducted in the well-equipped laboratory with all the latest equipment a necessary for the student to practice.
Admission
Admission process is very simple if you have more than 40% you can book a seat and fill the admission form online through college website, after booking email will be sent by the college regarding confirmation of seat and further details like fees are sent by email by the college
Faculty
The faculty of college is well qualified with specialization in their subjects. Teachers are nice and friendly with good knowledge of the field. They are good at the profession and making subjects easy to cope up. Overall standards are good enough to study here.
