SRMIST KTR -THE COLLEGE

The Admission Process was good.I have written the SRMJEE exam for the admission and the cutoff rank is 10000. You can find the Application form, and Application details and the Application fees in the SRM University website. The SRMJEE exam is conducted 3 sessions for a year. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate. I did not like the payment process they asked to pay the whole academic and hostel fees for admission confirmation.

Nowadays the main important course is Computer Science and Engineering and I like coding so I took the CSE CORE course for my future . The areas for the improvement is the teaching Faculty of some subjects. The College conducts monthly exams known as CT1,2,3(Cumulative Test) every month for internals .The exam paper for monthly is moderate.

The College internships Process takes place in Placement Cell of the College . You can apply for internship in the College visited colleges or outside for your internship. The College takes certain tasks like General Aptitude test and Codeing test for the Internships or placements .

The students become eligible for placements from 3rd Year 6th semester. I don't not know much about he placements as I study in first year . The placement percentage at SRM University is 98 percent. My plans after degree is Job with nominal package .

The fees increases by ?10000 every year for academic and hostel fees . The College takes whole full fees at a time for the first year students with both College and hostels combined. The complete cost of my education at present for first year is (?4,50,000 academic fees and ?1,35,000 for my hostel fees). The College provides scholarships for students who gets rank below 500 in SRMJEE. The College also provides scholarships for the backward and for the children who's parents work as faculty in the College. The College also provides scholarships for students whose parents work in Military . The campus helps the students with internship process in Placement Cell of the Campus.

The overall experience of the College is Good. Theere are good events or festivals every month by the Cultural Department such as Hackathons,Roadshows, Mini Milan ,Milan etc.. The College library have evrything you want and the library is divided into two Normal Library and Digital Library. The College have separate block for the CSE department for the computer facilities . The classrooms are installed with projector in the top middle and a white screen is placed with the wall for projection. The College have a big grounds for playing games like football, cricket etc... The College have a separate portal for students use like attendance , marks ,timetable etc... Any student can join any Club he/she wants

There are different types of hostels based on your wish such as 1.Adhiyaman Hostel AC with attached washroom Non-Ac with attached washroom 2.Oori, Paari,Kaari, Non-Ac and AC with common washroom These hostels are only for first year students. The quality of the meal is 4 star based on my experience.There are different types of food for the students in the hostel mess . After Confirmation of Admission the hostel booking process starts and you have to pay the hostel fees as single time payment .The affordability of the hostel is same as living rented in PG or room outside. I did not.rented outside still now.
