Life at IIM S

The first remains the same for everyone curriculam that influenced me was the electives they offer and the renowned professors. The curriculum prepares us well as its case based and a lot of simulations are offered in each subject. More simulation and modern case can be included. The exams are coducted twice in a term and we have 6 terms in total. Difficulty level is on little higher side of the exams.

The tution fee increase a little every year due to inflation and all, the complete cost of my education will go upto 1940000, as mess fee is not included in the fee. There are multiple scholarships are offered in collaboration with many banks and also there are government schemes and institutes own poilicy. It goes from 7 lac upto full fee waiver. I am the part of a committee and the stipend is in the form of learnings and experience, culture and values.

We celebrate every festival with great joy, starting from New year, lohri, pongal, Holi, vasant panchami, rakshabandhan, Diwali, onam, Christmas and all. From the month of January to December. There are lot of books available for multiple genre also multiple free online subscription are there for students. The classrooms are well equipped with all the necessary teaching aids and acoustics. We have a large play ground for cricket, football, also dedicated playzones for volleyball, badminton and basketball too. There are around 32 student run clubs and committee which are domain based and interest based.

So we have 3-4 hostel provide by institute itself and its charges are included in fee. The rooms are very modern and it has proper furnishing. The meal quality is decent and menu changes every month and its very inclusive and diverse. We don't have to pay any extra fee for hostel and it has ample space to even play cricket here. The rooms and hostels near the academic block only.

Admission process was very smooth, a dedicated team was there to help me, throughout the process. Got selected for MBA and its eligibility was above 92%ile, and sectionals. We follow trisemester patter and two Exams is conducted known as mid-terms and end-terms in a particular term, The level of difficulty is on a higher side, but it pays off well and we learn a lot. Everything related to admissions are awesome, now we have dedicated team to help the shortlisted students to appear for interview o jn CAP process.
