Course Curriculum Overview
The corriculum for the first year in all branches of bachelor of technology is same, in the second gear sections are divided into branch specific sections and different branches study different subjects related to their branch. In the 4th semester we get to choose 1 open elective subject and in the 5th semester we get to chose one of eight minor specialisations offered by different departments. A minor specialization consists of 4 courses over the 5th 6th and 7th semester. We have one mid term exams worth 30% of final semester grade one end term exam worth 40% of our final grade the remaining 30% is i ternal marking based on quizzes assignments lab files etc.
Placement Experience
Companies start coming to the college for placement at the begining o f the seventh semester, students having no backlogs and extreme discuplinary action are eligibke for placements. Companies such as verizon, blacrock, watchdogs, phillios, accenture, goldman. Sachs , dell visit for campus placement. The highest package ranges from 25-30 LPA 2-3 students placed and average package is 3-4 LPA 85-90 percent student sitting in placement drive get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Each new batch has an increased tuition fee, but that fee remains fixed throughout their course duration, there is a 10000 caution deposit taken as a part if the first gear fees which is refundable at the end of the course completion. Usually this hike is 7-12%. Wifi is not included and costs 4000-450 per month depending on the plan you chose, financial aid and scholarship forma are rolled out once each semester and anyone can apply for them based on their eligibility
Campus Life
Oneiros the annual cultural feat is a 2 to 3 day packed cultural feat having many events and performances by renowned artists. The techideate technical fest is a jam packed technical fest having multiple events and technical workshops along with international hackathons. Abhivarta is the annual sports fest and is held on a very large scale with participation grom multiple colleges actoss the country. The library has seating if 500 to 600 people which is generally oacked but has all books needed available at all times. Each class has good quality chairs and tables , lighting , ventillation , acs and projectors. There are many technical and non technical clubs in the college and all are very active with events and workshops.
Admission
Minimum 75 percent score required in 10 percent h and 12 th to apply for the course, you can chose to apply through direct admission - 12h score or give entrance exam - MAHE exam, similar to jee syllabus , 3 hours 4 marks for correct answer and negative 1 for incorrect. A rank of 10000-11000 is good enough to get into manipal jaipur B.Tech IT in the mahe exam. The councelling process requires a 10000 rupees refundable fees, if you chose to take admission kn the college , this 10000 amount is adjusted into the first year fees.
