The best thing about this place is the silence amd the calmness you will find in this area specially during rainy season.

The connectivity and the university exposure to students to explore more they need to work on placements

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually the syllabus of our course imsc Geography is one of the best in india it incorporate each and every aspect of geography. But from 2022 onwards there is some change and I personally didn't find those changes that much impact full to maintain the BSc in geography course. As far as experience with faculties it is roller coster ride kind of thing But you'll get enough time to deep dive into the course if you're motivatied enough.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For fees and all the fee is very much affordable as it is a central university. But it keeps on Changing in every academic admission year so don't forget to have a look in the course fee .. You will find scholarship as well specially for local people.

Campus Life

The annual fest of this university is Ankur which involves all the aspects of sports and cultural events.. Along with that departmental fests are also there but saying frankly as this university is still in growing fase so that much involved feat and sports activities are not there .. No clubs and as students need to rake more initiatives by them selves.. These all are things that I've experienced but day by day things are getting better .so hope for the best..????

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and mess is very affordable and the charges are too.. All the students enrolled in this university will get on campus hostel facility.. The food quality as far I've seen is good in terms of what we pay and this may differ from people to people..

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

You can get in the central university of Karnataka by giving cuet exam and need to study the specified paper that you are applying for and along with that general paper also.. The cutoff depends according to the course you've applied for.

About the college life

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Best teaching methods by conducting various activities and exams

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

All you need to know about BASEU

Likes

Infrastructure is really good, the campus is huge and is filled with greenery
The curriculum is extensive and is based on real world applications
The campus is happening with a lot of clubs

Dislikes

The placements are not upto the mark, could be better
The mess food could improve. It is puke worthy.
Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.

good supporting lecturers and the principal. they are supportive to almost everything. even the director is a very soft person. lift facility is worst where there is timing to lift. if you miss the timing you have to climb 5 floors by steps. hostel Facility need to be changed with quality. syllabus need to be upgraded

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks.
