Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I was drawn in by the course curriculum's practical focus and all-encompassing approach, which found a perfect balance between relevance and depth. The practical classes and industry-aligned projects truly drew my attention, as they offered practical application in addition to academic understanding. My decision to enroll in this course was influenced by the course's emphasis on practical learning since i think that success outside of the classroom depends on one's capacity to put what they have learned to use. In addition, the curriculum's integrated research and internship options felt like priceless learning opportunities that would really help me get ready for my future profession. But since no curriculum is flawless, I couldn't help but think certain places could need better. For example, adding more modern technology and industry trends could better prepare students for a quickly changing employment market.

Internships Opportunities

3

College provides a wide range of internship options, most of which cover a variety of industries and positions, internships with startups, non-profits, research institutions, and global enterprises are possible for students to get. These internships frequently include stipends, which can change depending on the location and length of the position. Student work on projects during internships that are customized to their abilities and the needs of the business. Examples of the projects could include market research, software development, graphic design, data analysis, or company development. These projects produce a range of outcomes, from physical products like research papers or software features to intangible benefits like professional networking and skill development. In the end, the internship provides students with priceless practical experience that enables them to apply what they have learned in the classroom, investigate career options, and the groundwork for future success

Placement Experience

4.5

Campus placements typically open up for students in their penultimate or final semesters, attracting companies like Google, Microsoft and Deloitte offering a range of roles. While the number of offers varies annually, the package rates, sometimes exceed 90% . post-graduation plans vary widely ; some opt for internships, leveraging job portals or networks, while others pursue further studies or specialized courses to enhance their skills. Entrepreneurship is also an option for those with a penchant for startups. My post-degree plan will be determined by my interests and aspirations . These could include returning to school , seeking for a job , or exploring the possibility of launching my own company ; they're all intended to help me achieve my long term career goals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual tuition fee adjustments are usually made by the university taking inflation and operating costs into accounts.Total education costs include tuition , services fees , and additional mandatory changes such as technology fees or health insurance.Various scholarships and financial aid programs are available, including merit-based awards , need-based grants, and specialized scholarships for specific academic interests or underrepresented groups . Award amount vary based on criteria and available funds.Jobs on campus, like research or library assistants , gives students the opportunity to be paid ehile getting experience.Stipends depends on job responsibilities and hours worked

Campus Life

2.5

My campus life was vibrant with social engagement and club activities .Annual events like the cultural festival in March ans the technical fest in October were highlights . Research was made easy with abundance of books and journals available in the library . Classrooms were well-equipped with modern facilities for interactive learning . A wide range of extracurricular and sport activities supported overall development. Student-run club like the photography club and environmental group fostered a sense of community . All in all, college life is rewarding and full of life long connecions and special moments.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I currently reside in a rented accommodation located in a busting neighborhood. My room is adequately furnished with a bed , study table, chair , and a wardrobe. The facilities including shared kitchen and laundry services. Meal are provided , and while the variety is limited , the quality is satisfactory. The registration process was straightforward, required basic documentation and a deposit. In terms of affordability , it's reasonable compared to other options in the area . the neighborhood is practical , offering quick access to majour throughfares and necessary facilities. As a whole, is satisfies my needs for a reasonable price and comfortable home.

Admission

The admission process was quite straightforward, with eligibility criteria clearly outlined for the course i applied for. I found the application form easily on the institution's website and paid the reasonable application fee within the specified deadline. As someone who availed of reservation benefits, I appreciated that the institution provided clear information on how these benefits were applied. The entrance exam, though challenging, felt fair and aligned with the course requirements. However, there were areas where the process could improve. A greater spectrum of applicants might be accommodated, for example, by providing more flexibility in exam timing and streamlining the application process even further to make it even more user-friendly. However, all in all, the procedure was doable, and I had sufficient assistance all along the way.

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
