Likes
- Person I met in my college life, there are both good and bad experiences but they have given me experience. Specially the hostel Life, I feel lucky to get into hostel.
- There are few faculties which have been a great mentor in my college life.
- Good to start the gym journey as gym fees is really very low for students. It is 500 for 6 months.
Dislikes
- Management is worst part in college. They can't help you in any situation and even they put you in more budden.
- Computer and equipment of college lab are not working properly. Almost 4 out of 10 times, I have to check which system
- College area is small, even my school is in more area than college.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am in Information Technology Department,which is really helpful. In my dept, curriculum was not that strict . We are cool person in college . We only have concentrate 2 day before Semester exam. 4 internal exam occur in a semester which is comparatively easy.
Placement Experience
Placement is not excellent but good. Almost every student get placed except who are opting for higher studies. But this time there is recession. Its the worst phase in IT sector in past 10 years in India. There is mass firing in corporates then it is hard to get placed even in less package. Actually many companies came in our college but this time till now around 30 companies have came like TCS, Vertusa, Maventic, Salesforce, Trust, TCG, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
West Bengal govt. Give student credit card to the student who are resident of West Bengal. For btech fee for our batch 2020-2024 was total 4.2 lakh in 4 year. May be for our junior it has increased. But still it is less as compared to fee in other states. There is very less scholarship scheme are available like for death of parents.
Campus Life
There are many clubs present like hardware club, coding club, Rheotoric(including art and designing), sports, etc. There is only 1 fest which is Leganza and which happened only 1 time in my college life . Library is the worst part. If you issue a book and kept it more than a month then you to pay fine . You can only issue book in 2 one-hour of slot in a week, if even have class in that time then it's your problem. Mangement don't give a shit about it.
Admission
This college is in West Bengal, so the admission is done by counseling through Wbjee. You can also participate in this counseling by Jee result. Reservation are only given to the student who are resident of West Bengal (Sc,St, Obc)
