Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The allure of BTech in Computer Science Engineering lies in its prominence as a leading field within the engineering domain, especially given the exponential growth of artificial intelligence. The curriculum's alignment with the burgeoning demands of AI and technology-driven industries significantly influenced my decision to pursue this course. Moreover, the incorporation of live sessions and interactions with HR professionals from various companies, along with opportunities for internships and practical experience, underscores the curriculum's commitment to preparing students for real-world applications and future academic pursuits. However, there remains room for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods, particularly in transitioning towards a more digital form of instruction. While exams occur every two months, their moderate to hard difficulty level poses a challenge. Nonetheless, with a focus on enhancing digital teaching methods and potentially refining the exam

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Several reputable companies such as Amazon, TCS, and various smaller firms offer internships with stipends, providing students with valuable hands-on experience. Interns undertake diverse roles spanning across departments, including software development, project management, and data analysis. Projects undertaken during these internships range from developing innovative software solutions to conducting market research and analysis. The outcomes of these projects often include the successful implementation of new technologies, improved business processes, and valuable insights gleaned from data analysis, contributing to both the students' professional development and the companies' objectives.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester onwards. Renowned companies like Google, Amazon, and TCS visit the campus, offering numerous job opportunities. The highest package recorded was 45 LPA from Amazon, while the average package stands at 5 LPA across various profiles. Approximately 70-80% of students secure placements. Post obtaining the degree, my immediate plan is to pursue placements, leveraging the opportunities provided by these esteemed companies to kickstart my professional career.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institution's tuition fee increase policy involves periodic hikes, typically occurring annually, albeit subject to variation based on administrative decisions and economic factors. These increments can range from moderate to significant percentages, reflecting the evolving costs of education and infrastructure maintenance. In addition to tuition fees, which amount to approximately 190,000, there are additional compulsory charges such as service fees and variable transport fees, contingent upon the student's route or area of residence. Despite the financial burden, some relief may be available through government scholarships or financial aid schemes, although specific details regarding their names and amounts remain unspecified. To alleviate the financial strain, students may also opt for campus employment opportunities, which offer stipends in exchange for various job roles and responsibilities.

Campus Life

3.5

The college hosts two major annual festivals, Lakshay and Tarang, with Lakshay taking place in March as a four-day night fest and Tarang held in December as a day fest. The library boasts a wide range of books and journals, readily accessible to students. Classrooms are equipped with projectors for interactive teaching sessions and online assessments. Sports and extracurricular activities are an integral part of campus life, with competitions and tournaments held monthly. Additionally, there are numerous student-run social groups, clubs, and portals that contribute to the vibrant student community, fostering a sense of belonging and providing avenues for personal growth and engagement. These cultural, academic, and recreational offerings collectively enrich the college experience, creating a dynamic environment conducive to holistic development.

Admission

For prospective applicants, eligibility for the course is contingent upon achieving a minimum of 60% in their 12th-grade marks and percentage. Application forms are available either on the institution's website or can be obtained offline from the college. However, details regarding application fees and dates are unspecified and may vary. Reservation benefits, if applicable, remain unclear. The examination schedule follows a bi-monthly frequency, with assessments ranging from moderate to challenging difficulty levels. To enhance the admission process, emphasis should be placed on facilitating online form submissions, streamlining the application process, and providing comprehensive information on fees, deadlines, and reservation benefits. This would not only simplify the application process but also ensure transparency and accessibility for all prospective candidates.
