Likes

The sports ground is big and football field is good
Security is also good as they check IDs daily and maintain order
Teachers are good and helps during lecture

Dislikes

Canteen is very small with only 15-20 people sitting capacity, food is trash, infrastructure is poor.
No one gives a care about the back of college and it's not maintained.
They dont have many apparatus in the physics lab and often times we have to skip a experiment because of unavailability of apparatus

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are not very interested in teaching. U can find a few teachers who have the enthusiasm but they can't convey that knowledge to students. Also the exams are tough. Many questions of jee mains level and advance level can be asked.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 22725 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is affordable and one can get concession if they belong to ews. I don't know much about fees structure. I would love if they can provide better and more transparent structure of fees for all reservation and non reservation students.

Campus Life

Main fest is Vibration which is held around Feb to March. Sports campus is big but given on lease. You cannot use the cricket pitch and lawn tennis court as it is given to private acadamies. No drinking water facility in ground. Sometimes students are stopped from entering ground. Campus of college is small. No ac, very run down condition of desks and walls in classroom. The new jijabai block has way better infrastructure. Computer labs are good and have ac. Library is big and has a AC reading room. Many societies which are good. NO ONE CAN PLAY BADMINTON, since there is no court for it. U can play without court and net and lines but it neither trains mor encourages to play

Admission

I filled cuet ug exam, appeared for it and the rank for physics hons course for me in general category was 6200 or something. I got seat in 3 Rd round of counseling. Exams center was good, no problems except for one day, when exams started on may21 there servers went down. I was impacted by it too. I had to wait 4 hours for my exam to begin. Standing outside in the heat under sun. Admission process was great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Some knowledge some confusion

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

DU intakes admission on the basis of CUET UG exam, and then there's the reservations for all categories, so basically your admission is based on the CUET marks and reservations, and then you get a chance to make a preference list of colleges and courses and then DU allots you a seat based on your preference list and your marks as per category....Read More
