What Students Say

Likes

Faculty of du colleges are appreciable as they really help in educating the students
The Infrastructure of du colleges is very much nice
Environment of colleges my differ in every cases but according to my experience the overall environment is good

Dislikes

Non teaching staff is a bit rude but after a time you'll get through it
No. There is not much things that I disliked in my college
No there is not much things that I disliked in my college

Course Curriculum Overview

So I have choosen the bsc honours in computer science circulum of this course is very much efficient as it starts from basics and move up to advance level according to me this course is pretty much nice if we talk about the real world opportunities regarding the course . Authority can make this course a bit short by not teaching the uncessary topics which are not that much needed.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 30280 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I haven't applied for the internship so it will not be appropriate to comment about it. But according to my knowledge there are plenty of companies which come to examine and choose the appropriate candidate to fill up the vacant seats

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees of particular bsc hons in computer science is 30280 per year in 2023 which is very much less as compared to other universities or colleges facilting this course after it I also paid 1800 for the examination fees per semester and the regular expenses like travelling eating cost are excluded which will be different from person to person .

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life is very exciting as there are many societies event and annual fest done once a year . Books accessibility is also nice as you only have to verify your college I'd for getting the possession of the book and after a time you definitely have to pay for late submission of the books

Admission

The admission process was I bit lengthy but not that much difficult to complete . For the application phase firstly you have to fill the form on official cuet website . Fees for cuet application was around 1500 and after that you also have to pay 150 or 200 for whichever university you are applying for. Difficulty for cuet is very much easier of you have studied the class 12 basic efficiently you crack the exam without any difficulty

The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

College and my 1st year

Likes

All girls college not male allowed in there without permission so everything feels right and safe
Conducts annual fests to change the vibe
Gotta know different types of people from different places

Dislikes

Student often get used to bad habits like smoking and drinking
To many protests everyone is doing protest even for the smallest inconvenience
Some teachers doesn't complete the syllabus they left it and students have to study on their own

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I wanted to choose physics honours with somehow I felt physics will get me to hard as per by 12 so I choose chemistry honours over physics honours and as if I am doing bsc so yeah it is giving me all the Chemistry by and I feeling alrighting am a learning will help me for job one day the classroom here are very small and very uncomfortable to set and study only thing for teaching I want to change for my department is the classrooms and examination schedule date sheet is also very bad for Delhi University like they change the date sheet 4 to 5 times within a month and till the one is not confirmed so yeah that's things

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
