The fests held here are so awesome. We can enjoy a lot
The library you can get different types of books. You can also get questions papers of previous years
The campus environment here is very good.

Dislikes

The timings here are so frustating. The timetable according to day orders. In certain day order the classes are from 8
I feel our regulation of b tech is very backward
The fee structure here is very high for a middle class family

I have chosen cse core as my elder brother suggested to chose. And I also done research regarding cse core how it values to software company which I want to join. The group discussion, presentation which happened made me to express my self to everyone and it also improved my communication skills

By the end 3 rd year we will be eligible for placement. The students who sit for placement should not have any backlogs at the time of placement. These are the companies for internship Barclays, natwest, jp Morgan As we are in 3 rd now so we don't exactly which companies come for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I join the fee structure for cse core was 350000 .and it is increasing every year 50000.as I have observed from the past years. There are different type of scholarship mostly popular are merit and founder scholarship which you will get by the srm entrance exam. You will also get scholarship by the marks every year. A certain amount is rewarded

Campus Life

Two popular events are aarush and Milan. Milan is held in March There are different types book in library. The money for charging each book also very less per a day. You can read in library. You get paid after returning book There are many events held from the university for the sports. There are various techincal clubs and social, fashion clubs available in srm. You can join as per your interest

Admission

I got to know about this from by brother. You need to have min 70percent in 12thand 10th. You need to fill application from the srm official website. You need to write entrance to get into university. This entrance exam of srm happens 3 times in a year. You can fix slot your slot at what time it possible and this is a online proctored exam

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Likes

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

In my college the placement training was going for seperate student
They have a lot of celebrations for the student instead of the college days

They have worst infrastructure of college

The transportation to the college is slightly hard

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
