Course curriculum is designed in such a way that one gets sufficient time in order to indulge in both academics and non academics. Also there is a lot of exposure and opportunities provided by the college.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship as well as allow students to go for internship elsewhere. Internship at college is generally provided for students undergoing PG.

Placement Experience

In engineering CSE is the branch for which the highest number of companies come (around 150). Almost 90% of the students gets placed from the total number of students sitting for placement. MNC's like Simon's , Sap Labs, HUL, My Sigma,etc are frequent visitors. Average package of the college is 5-6 lakhs

College Events

Technical fest-Aarush, Cultural fest- Milan Both of them are considered to be huge events as many high profile people come to perform as well participation from entire nation is a common phenomenon for these events. The entire contribution is made by the college authority only.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure varies with the rank obtained and seats available. There are various categories (namely-A,B,C) through which one can get into the college. When I joined 1,85,000 was the tuition fees for the students entering from merit quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

College do provide scholarship at the time of joining for to rank holders as well while going through your education on merit base. The amount of scholarship varies with rank and merit of the student.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel quality is not good. 3 sharing rooms the least sharing count that one can get in SRM even after spending 2lakhs a year. AC and of AC are the variety of rooms available in SRM with not that big a high-level. Also, the condition of the , bathroom is not good.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty

Faculty in SRM was very diverse with experience ranging from a year to 25. Qualification wise the faculty have an upper hand as almost all of them are PhD holders. If one sticks around them then they will lead you to a very bright future

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
