What Students Say

Likes

Campus life is really good and fun plus the coding culture
The sports culture is good also there is a lot of events every month

Dislikes

There not much to dislike but the thing is non availability of sport facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is very specific for industrial development and also makes sure there is overall development of the students. There is many other subjects we can study in 1st year like french, german etc. Labs are also included in this

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 3500000 per year

Placement Experience

The Campus placement are also good. Average package is also around 5lkh and highest this year was 50lkh which is a very good in my opinion. The internship program is also helpful in this and our campus also promotes this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is also good 3 lakh for core computer science branch with 50k for bus facility. Hostel and mess charges are also very reasonable with 1.5 lakh per year. Overall it's a good investment in the outcome of 4 years.

Campus Life

3.5

As for infrastructure, SRM Chennai typically provides modern facilities including well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sports complexes. It's often advisable to visit the campus or reach out to current students for firsthand insights into the social scene and infrastructure.

Admission

The admission process includes its own entrance exam SRMJEE also JEE marks. The cutoff is a bit high in SRMJEE for the Computer Science core branch. While JEE is also somewhat similar. The Campus selection process is also good.

Faculty

The teacher all are Phd teacher and are highly qualified and they help the students very well. The students and teachers ratio is also good and any student can approach the teacher anytime at any point of the day

Interview Experience

Yes, the admission process at SRM Chennai may include Group Discussions (GD), Interviews, or Written Tests depending on the program you are applying for. These discussions help us to develop public speaking skils.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

A Good College Experience with Opportunities for Learning and Growth

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
