To enter on the srm institute of science and technology we need to write entrance exam calld srm jee.after writing the exam they will provide you a all India rank according to it.if a person got a good rand in the exam they will eligible for scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum in the srm institute of science and technology is quite good. And standards are good and papers in the exams is above average and and need want decrease the assi gments given by lectures

Placement Experience

Placement are very bad,the placement cell is getting all the fake jobs,the average package is very low about 3lpa if a company came in to the college they are not providing all to write the company test,mostly they shortlist the girls,and random persons withot any filter.

The fee structure of electronics and communication engineering in srm institute of science and technology chennai in by batch 2020,the tution fees is 250000 per year If you got good rank in srm jee the student will eligible for scholarship

Campus Life

They are so many clubs to join but they having less reachability.the main festival in the srm institute of science and technology is Milan .the library was quite good pleasant environment and having all access to any books

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
