I applied to Tezpur University, Cotton College, Fergusson College and also Sri Venkateswara College. I got into all of them except Tezpur Uni, and also got through Ramjas College and Kirorimal College. I choose Venky for being exposed to a diverse, inclusive, elite campus filled with intellectual minds. Also, the relative peace of South Campus was another star factor in influencing my choice. I did apply to a lot of colleges of the Delhi University like Sri Ram College for Commmerce, Hindu, St. Sthephens, Hansraj etc. as these colleges gives you the brand balue of Delhi University along with much bettter exposure and way better opportunities for future endeavours. I applied to this college and several others which are all part of the University of Delhi. Admissions are processed through the common CSAS portal where students can provide a preference list of the colleges which they wish to attend, in order of desirability, and they are allotted a college based on their CUET or other qualifying exam scores. I had placed this college very high on my preference list due to its history of being academically rigorous, the abundance of extracurricular activities provided, its comparitively high placements and its reputation.
