Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is very accurate for this developing world. All the things are based on real-life problems in the structure. Practical classes have more focus than theory classes. There are 3 internal examinations and 1 external exam for the students. Assignments and mini-projects based on real-life application are given in most of the subjects

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees is 2.5 lakh every year around 50k or 1 lakh is increased . Many scholrships are provided by college and some are rank based in SRMJEEE and also based on Jee mains exam . Other than this army brat . Pwd scholarships are provided . Campus provieds enough opportunites you must be clever to grab one . Around 1000 comoanies come for placement in SRM.

Campus Life

Aarush (Technical fest ) abd Milan (carnival) These are the two main fest of SRM . Arush is conducted around september and Milan is hosted in March . There are many clubs in srm which gives Opportunity to showcase your extra talent such as fashion modelling , dance , music

Admission

You must have min 60% in PCM to be eligible to take admission in the Btech branch . SRMJEE is conducted in 3 phases in online mode at home only . Not too much hard as JEE . You can find the details about the examination on official site of the SRM . Srm ktr is the main and best campus which is situated 30 km from Chennai.

Faculty

1 faculty on 60 students in a class. Most of the faculties have dine docterate degree and are well skilled and have a very interactive way of teaching . Interaction with teachers is based on u only teachers are always ready to listen to you and help you.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
