Likes

Good infrastructure with spacious campus
Ventilated classrooms with smartboard and other facilitiesies
Huge library building with stock of all the books

Dislikes

No strict security at the entry gate. Strangers can easily enter the college.
The campus is not smoking-free. This really feels bad.
No placement is guaranteed by the college, or it may depend on your course.

The course is actually newly launched here in the university and has Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees offered by the college. The course is really interesting and students with political interests cam pursue it. Overall course experience is good. You can make your career in diplomacy, think tanks, policy-making etc.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities vary as per the course. My course provides a good range of internships throughout the year. There are also many companies that visit various departments such as MBA etc. Overall experience is fine but not as expected.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is - 12500/- per semester Examination fee- 1000/- per semester Annual charges ( one time fee ) during the time Of admission is- 18000/- Your total 2-year fee will be 72000/- And yes there are many kinds of scholarships as well.

Campus Life

Campus life is amazing. There are so Many canteens and have a separate canteen for each block. We have Classic Cafe for a more lavish experience. Stocks of the books are available in the library. There are good technological provisions in the classrooms. ( only in advanced classrooms). There are various clubs and fests.

Admission

-Eligibility - 55% in Bachelors -The application form is available on the Jamia Hamdard official website. -Reservations are vary. -You can get admission through counselling. - There is no entrance exam.

Faculty

Faculty members are no doubt well-educated and experienced. Teaching methods are good. They have adequate knowledge and discipline. They are hardworking and supportive. They put all their efforts into teaching us.

Likes

Faculty is very cooperative and they help you if you finding problems related to academic issues
Our lectures venue is at department which are in north campus and south campus.in college there is no social interaction for masters students.
faculty experience is quite good ,its like average

Dislikes

Washroom of college is not so good and also playground is also small for playing cricket
No social interaction in college because our all classes are held at departments
You also don’t know about what activities or extra curricular activity are going on college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The study material of delhi university in political science In which it follows the syllabus mostly of Cambridge University. Readings are only available in English in which many difficulties are faced by hindi medium students .

The fact that the college is associated with ministry of commerce and students get the chance to intern at the institute. This is one of the only colleges which provide opportunity to work at government think thanks and government associated ministry
College has professors who has pursued high degree from known institutes
College infrastructure is extremely nice and library and IT department offers a lot of valuable stuff

Dislikes

Only 2 courses are there, hence campus life is minimised
Fee is high, compared to many other government colleges

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible second year onwards for campus placements. Some of the companies that visit the campus include, American Express, Big4, MXV Consulting etc. Highest package is 25LPA . I aim to secure a placement after my course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course as I was interested in International relations and it's one of the best universities for the same. Teachers are excellent and with fewer few students, the faculty gives attention to each one of the students. One needs to pay thorough attention in class to pass the term exam. All teachers are well qualified and have excellent research experiences.

I Pursued my B.A Degree from this college at first by applying for the entrance exam and after completion of the UG Degree i applied for M.A Course but students completing their UG Degree from any recognized university can apply for the M.A course.

Remarks:

The management is very efficient and helpful. Though after the expansion in number of seats, there is some problem faced by students in the first semester, the administration tries it's best to make the experience pleasant for everyone.

Life at Jamia Hamdard University as a Pharmacy student

I got confirmed in one of the colleges of GGSIPU which was not so good for pharmacy and the location was also not ideal. I have applied for Jamia millia Islamia and Jamia Hamdard, but unfortunately I didn't get admission in Jamia Millia. Anyone with a B. Pharm degree can pursue this course. The application form and the whole admission process are online.
