Life at IIM Sirmaur

The curriculum of course is well up to date and made the students ready for the market. As the practical aspects of subjects are taught it not only gives the subjective knowledge of the subject. Also, to know how well the students are learning, in every term of 3-4 months two exams are conducted.

The college offers internship to students in various domains. The big companies which came this year were ICICI, Indigo, HDFC Bank, Accenture , D.E Shaw etc. The average stipend stood at 50000 and roles offered are from all domains like marketing, sales, finance, operations, analytics etc.

The placements are offered to 2nd year student from the month of august. 100% placements is offered by the institute in various big and known companies. The average package stood at 15 lpa. The companies offered the roles in the field of finance, marketing, operations, analytics etc.

The fee structure for the two year MBA programme including the hostel and mess fees will be approx 16-17 lacs. The institute also provide various schlorships and financial assistance to students. Students can also earn from live projects and internships.

There are mainly two fests are organised namely the Radiance which is a Management fest and Sierra which is a Cultural fest of the institute. The campus has all the amenities and facilities required by the students like smart classes, mess, library, hostels with wifi facility, indoor and outdoor sports space etc.

Single room is offered to each students at the time of registration with all the basic needs like study table, chair, bed and mattress, almirah and a rack. The mess is also very good. 4 time meal is served and the menu covers the dishes from whole india.

The admission is offered in an MBA in IIM Sirmaur is through CAT Exam. The level of exam is moderate to difficult and is conducted once a year. The application fees is approx 1500 and the form is opened in the month of july-august.

The class size is approx 50-60 students which helps the students and faculties to interact with each other individually. The faculty delivers the course content in a very effective way and through practical approach. Also, the faculty is available yo help the student outside the classroom.

After clearing the written examination of CAT which is comman aptitude test, the shortlisted will get the call from various IIMs on the basis of their percentile and after which students has to sit for GD and PI round. The aggregate score is calculated after GDPI and then offer letter for admission is sent to students.
