Dislikes
- The major factors that I dislike are the heads of different departments that sacrifice quality for efficiency and these pressures affect the whole department and the professors also have to performe according to the heads
- I feel the second campus or the New campus needs a infrastructure boost as it gets taken a back as compared to the old campus in case of infrastructure.
- The hostels of the New campus can also have some major updates in terms of better beds good mess etc
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum and the course is designed inaccordance to the industry standards but gets a little undermined by the rapid changes in the industry and the job markets. The teachers also put extra efforts to compete with the changes
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship in UCO bank from college as part of my Summer Internship Project and it is quite nice, as it gives us insight into the industry and helps us build experience. The internship is performance-based.
Placement Experience
The placements are ok as compared to other colleges in Lucknow. The average placements come at around 3.5 to 4 lakhs and the highest goes up to 11 to 12 lakhs per annum. An average of 40 to 50 percent class gets placed from the college
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is simple the 2 year degree is divided into 4 semesters and the fees of each semester is 82000 but in the first semester and extra 5000 is taken as caution money and the total fees of the course is 334000
Campus Life
The campus life is good as far as the opinion of a day scholar is considered and the campus is big enough to have a good walk and the greenery is also good. College also allows private and public convience to enter the campus.
Admission
The admission process is via a Written test known as LUMET or LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST and around 3 to 4 thousand student give it every year and is conducted ones every year but can be changed due to recent updates.
Faculty
The faculty of my Department is good as far as academics is concerned but they should include some extra curricular activities in the course to make it more zealful and which will help the students to focus on there academics better Our placement director is a IIT alumi and helps us a lot in getting us industry ready
Interview Experience
There was a written paper and a PI round before final seat allotment. The paper is called LUMET and is conducted ones every year at around September. The onboarding process is quite smooth and the documentation is also simple.
