Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is helpful for students in future practical approaches of advocacy or judgeship . University also updates curriculum on periodic basis whenever their is any need or something new came in existence. Curriculum also has some practical approach like visiting court, motivating people's for their rights in remote areas. University also conduct moot court practice to understand the proceedings of court and how to behave in court. University do need more improvement in practical approach areas of moot court and court visiting and to update the curriculum of various subjects and to add on new fields in which students can work or get a job in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as follows: Total fee - 53000 per year including tution and other charges about which I'm not clear . I personally haven't seen much hike in fee since 2020 . The fee might have increased by 5-10% only not much . We do get Uttar Pradesh scholarship from government and I don't think any other financial aid is available for students. No their is no campus employment or job roles for law students generally but you can go to court under guidance of senior advocate. University do suggest advocates some times.

Campus Life

3.5

Ya the campus life is full of joy and happiness. Seniors helps a lot to their juniors. University do organise annual fests in students participate and perform as their choice . University have big library in which lot of books are available and easy accessible for students study and they can also access books for home by taking library card and paying Library fee. In general all necessary books are available for all courses of students. University organise university level sports in which all students of university and affiliated colleges participate and perform and they also award the winners too which increase moral of the students in study and sports field both. Senior do have formed clubs and social groups for students problem in campus and to raise students voice in case of any issue.

Admission

The admission process is not difficult and suitable for all students to get admission but the number of seats are very low. Students who have passed 12th from any stream can take admission by giving entrance test which would charge about 500 rs and the exams are held in between May and June . The entrance exams are held in 2 shifts and at various centres throughout the state. The only difficulty in this process is exams centres which sometimes is not according to expectation.

Faculty

3.5

The student to teacher ratio is approx 20:1. The faculty teachers are well experienced and they have deep knowledge too. The explanations they gave with examples are very helpful in understanding the topics . If any student have their own query they can directly ask in classroom or outside classroom too . Students even go to teachers cabin to ask any doubt or question. If I say about student teacher interaction or vice versa it's quite good. Teachers usually ask questions after explaining topics and if someone can't answer they explain it again.

I choose this course because its really a noble profession and I would like to contribute by best into this course. The curriculum preparess me for the real world applications really well especially moot courts. The teaching methods of the teachers are really fun and engaging they interact with the whole class. Makes it easy to understand the subject. No improvemnets needed right now. The exams are of moderate level and of 2hrs max internals and helps in improving.

Not everyone gets placed and the people who gets placed don't get much, there are multiple companies that come for the interview and only people with 60+ percent in their exams can qualify for the interview.
