Likes

Our faculty members are being friendly with us
Our campus peace and nature in some places like library garden etc
Food in the canteens are so delicious and affordable

Dislikes

Some people being rude to the faculty they dont even give respect
Some students who eats the food and through in garden dont even use dustbins
Seniors who starts doing extremely ragging to the juniors

The curriculum influenced me to choose this course because iam intrested to be a pharmacist It is very useful for the further next coming generation to prepare vaccines etc Our college is best for this pharmacy course In our college there will be strict about exam's and they help us and teach us very well

Every festival we celebrate in our college So many books and jounals are available in our library for pharmacy there is a separate library in our campus In every classroom we have cctv it is a main facility for students Coming to the sports we can join any sport our college will give full support in participating sports In our college there are 4,5 clubs like dancing singing ,ramp walk etc

Admission

In gitam university the pharmacy is best And for me the college is nearer thats the main reason for choosing this college And i thought that in our college the pharmacy course is understandable and faculty are helping in teaching very well

Our faculty members are upto 50 members they will help students very well in studies Exams are conducted once in a 6months (semesters) Two mid examinations are conducted per the semester Our faculty provide easy and understandable materials for us and give important questions to prepare for exams

Golden days era

Likes

The faculty, ambience, facilities were good.The knowledge shared was great
Faculty was very patient and approcheable
The college environment was good at opportunities ,events , and social interactions

Dislikes

Many changes required within the lab facilities and shortage of lab equipments as well
Placement support was good but the salries offered by the employers was not satisfactory.
More practical knowledge related activities to be implemented

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy was the best option for Bipc students apart from MBBS. My main aim was MBBS,but unfortunaley i couldn't get it. Retail pharma, industrial, clinical had a huge scope which made me to opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Curriculum needs more practical knowledge to prove within the real time market. Improvement was much needed with research based programs as it was the major core area for pharma aspirants. Frequency betwween internal and external exams were too short.

Force to wear shoes slippers not allowed
The lunch break is too short, so there isn’t enough free time to relax.
No college programs or festivals. the college focuses only on studies.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies visit the campus and offer roles in sales, production, quality control, regulatory affairs and clinical research. The highest and average packages vary by company and year, usually depending on the profile offered. A good percentage of eligible students get placed. After completing my B.Pharm, I plan to gain industry experience and pursue higher studies or specialize in a suitable field.

Likes

Food availability and other requirements in the college are good
The amount of events they conduct to create about drug free society
They ask us to acquire good pharmacist skills in the early stages

Dislikes

The college is very disciplined. It works very systematically
The college management do not allow us without identity card and proper uniform
The college staff do not permit into the labs without apron

Placement Experience:

All the best company takes the students for interviews. Our Dean sir do his best to make sure every child get the job in the college it self. He is very dedicated towards the placements through his connections

Likes

The college focuses more on academic excellence so if you really want to focus on studies it's best
Campus life is enjoyable , very green and have events. Students get opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, which helps in building confidence
The faculty members are knowledgeable and very supportive. They will guide you for the future path and your life decisions

Dislikes

Mostly focus is on academics and extracurricular activities are very less
The placement opportunities are very less . They pay very less
The girls ratio is 60 and boys ratio is 40.

Placement Experience:

From 4-2 the students become eligible for college placement No of companies visites for placement are many and that includes Cipla,Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Sometimes it is 100% placement for few companies and for some it is 3-4 students My plans include doing m pharma

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b pharmacy has been well scope and wel opportunity and get high knowledge about medicine,and the faculty was excellent good teaching skills and we'll explain every topic, girl is more than the boys 30:8 qualification of faculty was Ph.D. faculty was teaching and the good explaining exam was easy to pass to attained every class daily easily to pass the subject

A life of an Average Indian Student in University

I have applied to many colleges few of them are Vellore Institution of Technology (VIT), Woxsen University, Manipal University, KL University. I have applied for BTech in All these Universities. But at last moment i decided to flip my course and pursue Food Sciences and Technology so i had to let go all the opportunities in the university. I did apply for Mahindra University for BBA but u got rejected in the Personal Interview round. I got into GITAM througu their Entrance Test. I have got a scholarship of 40% in their entrence test. There are various eligibility criteria for GITAM. The main criteria would be you have to score above 60% in your Intermediate. This Universities accepts students through their own entrence test, AP and TS Eamcet, Intermediate Marks, JEE test series, NEET, etc. The most prefered exam by all the students to get into the university is the Universities Entrence test.
