Likes

I really liked the environment and openness of the campus. The greenery here is fabulous and really good.
The boy to girl ratio is pretty good, and almost equal.
The teachers are very nice and so is the overall environment of the college.

Dislikes

The mess food is not that diverse and is usually same.
The hostels are not worth paying so much for.
The hostel timings are pretty strict and sometimes just plain rude

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is pretty vast and well structured. There are many options and courses you can opt for all of them are accredited and follow latest standards. The teachers are also very good and all classrooms are equipped with smart boards/projectors.

Placement Experience

The campus placement of this college are very good and many major companies recruit from here. The seniors and alumnis have good reviews about the placement scenario in this college. Some notable seniors have jobs in mercedes f1 team etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees of the college is 4,35,000 for my course. The fees for hostel is 2,38,000 and other expenses. The fees is affordable and there are scholarship options for toppers of SRMJEE exam which is the entrance test for SRMIST. The college overall is pretty good and is lenient in many terms. The college also provides merit based scholarships along with army scholarship and jee based scholarship.

Campus Life

The social life on campus is really good, the fests, the festivals and everything. Aaruush and Milan are the two main fests and both are really good. Clubs here are very very good and versatile with a wide variety of technical clubs to choose from and work hard with.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel is adhiyaman which is the 2nd best after premium hostel. I have two sharing room which is very good and spacious. The hostel timings are from morning 6 to evening 9 and we have to take out pass for going out of campus gate on weekends. The mess food is good but feels repetitive and lacks variety.

Admission

This college was way better than all the other options i had. The admission into the college is through SRMJEE which is an online entrance examination. I had only applied to a few colleges like SRM, BITS and VIT apart from jee colleges. I only got into SRM and VIT but i chose srm over vit.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is pretty good. The curriculum is based on 2021 curriculum, the faculty is well versed in what they teach and have good knowledge about their subjects. The non credit courses do the have classes except ncc and yoga.

Overall Good

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Likes

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

In my college the placement training was going for seperate student
They have a lot of celebrations for the student instead of the college days

They have worst infrastructure of college
They Didn't give any leave for the students
The transportation to the college is slightly hard

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
