Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is quite good I like my course very much the teachers and the professor teaching are course are also quite cooperative and intelligent and somehow our college lacks in infrastructure , college should provide us laptop and tablets so that we can learn better and with more dedication

Fees and Financial Aid

Our whole year fees is 13000 approx and the scholarship is given to only some castes and people of some specific regions, College provide many scholarships to specific regions and caste students but general category students don't get any of these benifits

Campus Life

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

College of Vocational Studies - [CVS], Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Human Resource Management)
Reviewed on Aug 16, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm pursuing Human resource management and as I have mentioned before CVS is the only college providing vocational courses. The reason I chose this course is it is skill based and also i wanted to have a career in HR field. The comprehensiveness and understanding of this subject is quite good, it covers topic that one studies in his or her MBA. Their are areas that need to be improved like practical applicability of the subjects that we are taught, the college should take initiatives to let students use the learnings in a real world scenario by providing them internships or by taking them to corporate visits. The exams are conducted semester wise and their difficultly level is moderate. The exam timings for vocational courses is 2:30-5:30 p.m

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good, Placement cell regularly organizes placement drives, and companies like ktmg, amazon, TCS are invited for the drive. A large population of students sitting for the placement drive get placed with a good package. Students can sit for internships in the second year. The highest package made in my course was 7 lakh per annum. About 93% percent of the students get placed.
