Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

A comprehensive review of My college: Shridevi institute of engineering and technology.

The admission process is quite simple,as you have pass your intermediate exams or if you are doing diploma, you must have to pass those exams, for direct admission in this college. But there are also state based exam known as cet for admission of state students, and for outside of the state comedk exam is there. If you get cut off rank you can get admission in this college, for cet you need around 4000 rank to get admitted in this college. You can find application form from college website or you can directly come to the college and get admission. Also if you give entrance exams like cet or comedk you can choose this college based on your rank, and afterwards you have to come to college for further admission process. Exams frequency varies from time to time ,as the duration of each semester is different,if semester duration is less then the exams frequency are high , overall examination level is between easy and medium. Semester duration must be fix and overall fees can be little bit less....Read More
