AKGEC, B.Tech

Remarks

The academics is good in many of the colleges but the unique thing aboout the AKGEC is its architecture structure. The structure of our college is based on the German architecture which is very unique. And oir college is always a work in progress condition which is sometime an irritating thing for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Talkin about the course curriculum, it has many theoritical subjects rather than the practical one, since as an engineer we should have technical (practical) knowledge rather than therotical. Exam structure is fine.

Placement Experience

Now talking about the placement, in Ghaziabad there are only 2-3 colleges which have almost the same placement percentage like KIET, ABES, AKGEC these college have almost 60 plus percentage which will improve in near future(i hope).

College Events

3.5

There are many events celebrations in our college like holi celebration , diwali celebration, garba night, independance day celebration, republic day celebration And technical events like ACAR, ROBOVERSE, ROBOTRICS nad many more which are conducted by the technical socities of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite high it is around 1.5 lakh per year per student . I think it is little bit high, it must be around under one lakh rupees. Because to complete B.Tech it takes around 10 Lakh rupees to complete which can't bemanaged by some of the families.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is one thing which i like about the management of our college is that they give prize money to the students who perform well not only in academics but also in any of the field of their interest. They even give 25 thousand rupees to one studemt(which is highest).

Campus Life

In our college there are many spots like basketball, badminton, cricket, football, volleyball etc. Also our college take part in SAKSHAM(an event conducted by the University) and even our students win hold medals and other types of prizes in the event.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of our college are very helpful in nature , they always guide us on the basis of their experience Which they got at our level. They are always ready to help in our academics or in projects.

Faculty

All the faculties of AKGEC are very good in anture and have almost 6+ years of experience in their respective subjects. All the faculties are graduated from the reputed college. And also the teaching style of the faculties is also good. Most of them are IITians

Does LL.M in integral University worthy

Likes

It is having nice infrastructure and other facilities for both the girls and boys students.
They are having girls common room in each building of the college.
The washroom facilities are very good and hygienic

Dislikes

The time tables are bit tiring and exhaustive
There are plenty of assignments and assessment test
There are many competitions held at a time so some times it becomes exhaustive

Placement Experience:

The placement facility is very good. University has it's own placement cell. Alumni and recent graduated students are eligible for the placements . As well as from second year students are eligible for the internship opportunities. Many companies come and select students from campus interview rounds. Many companies select students through online mode like Google meet. Students get regular notification mail and sms regarding job opportunities by the placement Cell as well as faculties also share job opportunities and internship opportunities in the college groups . So that students can apply who all are interested. Almost 95% students get campus placement during their last year or semester. The average package given to the student is 6-8 LPA and the highest package range about 24-25 LPA. My plans are to give competitive exams and doing PhD for further qualification.

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My geart government college

Likes

If I talk about my college that i appreciate is the best part of environment very much good and more than best other government colleges in mzn
Our campus life is okay okay!! Cause I'm not that part of campus life. So I don't enjoy that part of my college.
I truly talking about faculty's it is genuine with us . And teaching methods is best every teachers always the right time in the classroom.

Dislikes

No more provided placements in our college cause it is a government. But always support teachers for providing for career development.
It's a properly government college. So more more facilities in our college and campus life other students who studied about coursees.
I did completed Bachelors of commerce in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ok, if I talk about my course, I have done B.Com from there and B.Com is a very good level course. It means there is a degree in it and I had to prepare for government job and from the beginning I had taken commerce in 11th class, so I found B.Com very suitable for me and as far as exams are concerned, B.Com means good study. Our college used to teach us very well, so I had also taken tuitions together, so it was quite good. My experience means it did not seem so difficult. I found it very difficult, I used to get very good exams and I cleared it very well without any back.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
