Course Curriculum Overview

5

It's nice, it gives you IT knowledge...you can aplly various jobs in IT sector with graduation degree in this course....Teachers should try to understand students perspective and should be quite understanding...

Internships Opportunities

5

Shivaji college have a placement percentage of approx 86%....many companies like naukri.com provides placement opportunities in this college....if you seriously study there and focus on placement then you will surely get placed in some good company

Placement Experience

5

5th and 6th semesters students are eligible for campus placement... 1st to 4th semester students can avail internship benefits and plans... College tries there best to make students familiar with outside world.....by Providing varities of number of internship and placement opportunities...

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is not increasing here very rapidly but there is slight increase yearly in it's fee structure, I myself paid 27300/- for admission in 1st year in a program course (B.Sc. Applied physical science with computer science) it's quite nice course and possibly best alternative if you want to get enrolled in B.Sc.(H) computer science. 27300/- is total fee after including every possible charges etc. College provides scholarship scheme very year by which students can even get 100% refund of there fees on the basis of there family income. There not vast difference in fess of different categories only few hundreds or thousands difference is possible....

Campus Life

5

There are so many societies available having there own unique and creative names, if any student want to exel in any specific area or sector thrn they should surely get enrolled in the respective societies because it helps them enhance there talent and exel in it

Admission

It requires CUET exam score of around 300/600 to get admission in this college, admission process is quite easy, you have to give CUET exam after that apply on CSAS portal and then select you college preferences, if you specifically want to get enrolled in this college then make sure to place it on your 1st preference....and after you get this college in any round, accept the seat and wait to get your documents verified after getting your document verification done you can pay the fees and take a print of you payment receipt and keep that safe...and yayyy you got your admission done

Faculty

4

Maths faculty is really good, teachers don't pressurize you for anything and tries there best to understand you.. Computer science faculty is the one that I dislike a bit because they are very strict sometimes and don't try to listen to students perspective.. I myself have 7 subjects out of which I have exams of 6 subject , there are 3 DSC SUBJECT and 1VAC SUBJECT and 1GE SUBJECT and 1 AEC subject...only 2 DSC SUBJECT have practical exams...they are so difficult, they can be moderate to difficult..

Night Life

4

Gym is not available in the college... Canteen is there but there are only few options, whivh are also not so good... Everything gets closed after 5pm....hostel closing time is 7pm If you hangout then inside the college the best place is coffee point which is commonly known as BRU within students and you also go to complex which is just in front of college and outside the college you can go to EPICURIA aur McD, both of these are at walking distance from college...

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
