I remember all the enjoyment and all the parties with my friends. This is my good experience in college campus. I request to college management that they will taken the good companies in our future students.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was my worst experience that i was admitted to Hooghly engineering & technology college which was very bad college in west bengal. I got admission after getting surity from them that we will be placed at top most companies in india where they provide zero campanies in whole year.
Placement Experience
The job placements are the worst now. Most of CSE companies come to our college. There are no placements still 2017 to the present. They provide zero campusing in core department and zero internship facility. We got internship from Internshala with our own cost.
College Events
There are many events takes place in this college like cultural fest, Tech fest,sports, and so on. In tech fest many events are take place like Roboziggar, Bridge the gap, Treasure Hunt, Robotics, Qiuzard and so on.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure was very high comparatively to others colleges. It was the govt aided college but they charged a high amount.The fee structure is semester based. We have to pay the fees every 6 months. My college fees are around 42,000 to 45,000 per semester. And it is feasible as compared to other colleges. Our hostel fees are 30,000 for 6 months, which is a little bit expensive. It was too tough for a parents to manage that much amount though they are managing.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am having a loan from Central bank of India and some students also have a TFW, which means tuition fee weaver. Loan facility is not offered by the college but college will provide you with the documents through which you can get a loan easily.
Campus Life
In our lab's infrastructure is very good. All the equipments were maintained. Soil Mechanics lab, Highway & Transportation lab and fluid lab, English communication lab, chemistry lab, physics lab, Cad lab, solid Mechanics lab etc are stayed in our college. In everything year our college Cricket tournament take place.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were help full and alumni is also good and program arranged by them was superb. Our annual program and everything was best regarding other colleges.The college seniors were very helpful persons. They always helped me. They gave me good types of suggestion with placements, job and different types of studies. Just
Admission
Admission got through WBJEE(west Bengal joint entrance examination) and also minority quota.I was looking for a college having good placement percentage for Civil companies. I found HETC college as the best college for a medium class family, who has a good placement rate for Civil students. This college also provides hostel facility, which is strongly required by a student coming from another state. So I chose this college.
Faculty
The civil faculty are much better than other faculty members. The faculty members are very interactive with the students and very helpful. They put effort very much to make the curriculum easy and help every student to solve the problem or difficulties.
