Remarks

The positive things are good lab facilities, game's, freedom, good facilities and placements. And the negative thing is that, the timings in our college. The college starts very early. And the far away students are coming some times late, because of heavy traffic. If they change the timing, it will be very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of our college is good. In our college the subjects are very good. It's very useful. And the exam structure was also nice. The exam is to begin in forenoon or afternoon. And the overall it is awesome.

Placement Experience

The placements are good actually. For so many people, the jobs are coming good. Even if they having backlogs also they got the job, because of there talent. The talent is the main thing to get a job.

College Events

Every year there will be lot of events conducted in our college. There will be fresher's day, it will be warm welcome to our fresher's students. And there will be annual day celebrations. It will be very good and we can enjoy. And then there will be farewell day also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At first our college fees is normal only. After then they have increased very much. At first they increased to 25,000. After that year they have increased it to 75,000 then normal fees. It's because of NAAC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, our college is giving scholarship to the eligible persons. There is a entrance exam, if you got good marks in it. Then you will get scholarship. If you got good marks in the intermediate or plus two examination, also you can get the scholarship.

Campus Life

The labs are very good. And they will provide good facilities in it. Almost all the equipments will be there. The extracurricular activities are to be done based upon your interest. And sports are also going well. And one more thing, based upon sports quota also you can get scholarship in our college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni and the senior students are some what helpful. If we ask doubts, they will clarify it. If any problems are going on also, we can report them, then they will solve it. They are very helpful in our college.

Admission

I went to head office and asked about the courses. They said about the all courses in detail. Then I thought to go mechanical or mechatronics. And my father told to go to mechatronics, it is good because it's some what new course.

The faculty of our college is actually good. They will interact with students and teach very well. They have done a very good job of their side. The teaching skills is also good and they will be good with the students.

The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

I did my JEE mains preparation for 2 months and got 87.8 percentile but the cutoff for the year 2022 was 88 percentile for general category. I still had option to join various NITs for cse and other courses, but I have made my mind to study only aeronautical engineering. So I did some research and came to know about this college. I am saying this again. This college is the best for this course apart from IITs. But the faculties may not be what you expected. There are entrance exams but I personally think it's a scam. Vibrant Cmapus life at HITS: Academics, Oppurtunities and Social Engagement

I had applied to SRM, VIT, KCG and SNU. I chose this college as it has a relaxed campus culture compared to other colleges, they also have international exposure which helps us migrate to other foreign universities for a semester exchange program. I was selected in SRM and VIT-AP but was rejected from SNU during the interview session and seat limitation, I would have gotten rejected as I wasnt confident in the interview session. The admission process at HITS is simple, you have to register for the HITSEEE exam from their website and its an exam that you can write from your house, the basic eligibilty is 10+2 with atleast 50 percent in maths, physics and chemistry, they also accept TNEA exam students and give direct admission to the NRI students. The cuttoff depends on the course and category and might vary based on reservations as well. The admission experience was pretty straightforward, post the confirmation mail about the rank after writing the HITSEEE exam, there will be a counselling session where we could choose our course and department based on our rank. There is also a management quota for students who wouldnt have performed well in the entrance exam and they are charged more fees than the others....Read More
