Remarks
Infrastructure is very poor and it needs to be developed. And lab facilities also needs to be updated. Sport facilities also needs attention. Faculty student ratio is also less and there is need to increase the number of faculties
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is old and it needs to be updated. Practical exposure is zero and no site visits are conducted and theoritical subjects are taught which are less applicable in practical. And fees is 76000 annually
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are very in nit raipur. Most of the company's don't visit because of the delay of the course from June to August. Most of the company want graduates to join in July and in nit raipur course lasts till August. Our college does not provide internship and they don't allow us to do by self also.
College Events
Many of the events are celebrated in nit raipur. One of the main event is samar which is a sports based carnival, then there is eclectika which cultural based event and aavartan is also there which technology cultural event
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. It is 76000 annually which includes library fee, gym facilities, sports facilities, tution fee, exam fee. Payment of fees can be done semesterwise also and it cost 37500 rs per semester
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any scholarship but there are lot of scholarship opportunities for the students, especially for those who belongs to minority or reserved category. There are some scholarships which provide 30000 annually
Campus Life
Lot of extracurricular activities are there. There are very clubs wich run parallel in our college. Some of them are nrityam (dance club), nautanki(dramatics), cricket team, football team, yoga group. College also supports for extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for hostel but what I hear from others is that hostel facilities are very poor and first of all number of accommodation provided is less in numbers and food in mess is also not of high quality
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpful in every aspect. They will help you at every point whether is it for financial aspect or it is of educational aspect. You must have developed good relationship with seniors.
Admission
I appeared in gate got 1792 rank. Than i appeared for ccmt councselling through which I got seat in structural engineering branch. Than in councselling you have to provide all the necessary documents like degree, migration certificate, Transfer certificate.
Faculty
Most of the faculty don't concentrate on students and they are busy doing there own consultancy. Even some of the senior faculties don't take classes also and they even pass all the students and give marks to everyone.
