One of the best colleges for this course in the city.most of the students would like to study in this college due to its good reputation and performance In the past years. The college is good in studies. The college is good in infrastructure so I insist everyone join this college. The best college has ever seen in my life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty good. It's one of the top 3 courses in the engineering field. The exams are usually held 3 times every semester. And then the best of 2 are taken from these 3. And then there's a sem end exam that happens at the end of the semester.
Placement Experience
The placements are great here for software branches. And, the placement rate for core branches is higher than any other colleges in Karnataka. Also, called as a royal mechanical for its famous mechanical branch. The students from many parts of India study here too.
College Events
There are numerous events that happen every year. The biggest one is techNieks organised by the technical department of the college. The fest is for 3 days and once in a while in a year other branch fests also take place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very economical. And as compared to most of the college's , the fee here is pretty cheap. It had three types of fee structure. One for KCET students, one for comedk and one for management students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship for students with certain categories. And other facilities as such. The scholarships need to be applied online to the required scholarship portal. And then a fee waiver is done. And you'll get a refund from the fee.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. The hostel is newly renovated. And the hostel facilities are really good. There are 3 blocks placed very close to the college. And there are two girls hostel. One inside the campus and one outside the campus.
Admission
Common Entrance Test (CET). I had heard that NIE is the most reputed college in Karnataka that too it is very much good for civil engineering course. So I didn't made a second thought when I could see that there is a seat at NIE Mysore during the CET Counselling.
Faculty
The faculty for certain branches are fully experienced and are mostly from IITs, NITs, and iisc Bangalore. So the college comprises a mixture of good and experienced teachers and newly joined teachers.
